We had a lovely overnight stay at the May Fair last weekend, our first visit. Our suite (we were upgraded) was very spacious and comfortable. We had breakfast in our room, which was very good, and the man who brought it returned promptly to fulfil a last minute request. Our AC was also turned off very quickly on request. The...

Visited The May Fair hotel in central London as a surprise from my boyfriend on Sunday the 5th july. Our treatment included use of the facilities and a couples body treatment session. The hotel is lovely but we were only attending the day spa for a treatment. The hotel spa has a lovely oriental feel and the decor is very...

I would like to begin by saying that The May Fair Hotel is a wonderful hotel, though the service is exceptional. I am a frequent visitor to this hotel and it was about time I write how the customer satisfaction is greatly appreciated by me. I must add a very kind gentleman by the name of AMIN the duty manager...

Overall, this hotel is pretty good, but a few small problems put me off. Correct, these, and I'd give it a 5. The front desk staff is very friendly, but they seem to forget that they're working at a Club Carlson property. My wife and I have gold status, but when we checked in, we were not recognized as members...

Dear pointman9, Thank you for your review and I was pleased to hear you enjoyed your overall stay with us. I will certainly follow up on the points you have made and thank you for bringing these to my attention. We had some Club Carlson points to use so decided to spoil ourselves at the May Fair and it was so worth it. The Receptionist was brilliant, so helpful and generous with his time. We had a great room overlooking the hubbub of London. Slightly downer, the inner window was open and I couldnt close it so we did hear...

We stayed here whilst on business. Check- in was swift, and dealt with by a very friendly member of staff, as I am a Club Carson gold member we were upgraded to a bigger room, also had a complimentary voucher for a drink each ( worth £15 each). Lovely touch. Once we had settled into our room, we decided to...

Dear JulieKelly69, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at The May Fair Hotel. Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
