Travellers' Choice
Over the last few months, our team have been working hard to prepare for our guests’ return. We’ve implemented a range of new measures to look after your well-being, but one thing remains a constant – the warmth of our Savoy welcome. The Savoy is the only luxury hotel on the River Thames. The ballet, opera, and theatre of vibrant Covent Garden are just steps away, with the City, world-renowned museums and galleries, and the designer shopping of Knightsbridge and Mayfair within easy reach. The Savoy has been woven into the fabric of London for almost 130 years, with exceptional service and memorable experiences at the heart of everything.

Visited here today on a family trip to London. Afternoon tea in the Thames Foyer was amazing. From the greeting upon arrival through to paying the bill the service and experience was just first class as you would expect. Natasha who was our waitress was really excellent, explaining everything and making you feel welcome and relaxed. Attentive service and attention to detail throughout but at the same time no dramas. Will definitely be doing this again on our next London trip.

Hotel's Favourite
My Partner and I have just spent 4 Nights at this superb Hotel. Nothing is to much trouble and the reception staff are always welcoming and remember your names when passing you throughout your stay. We arrived early knowing that our room wouldn’t be ready but they still let us check in and then looked after our luggage whilst we went out for the afternoon. On arrival back a member of staff takes us to our room and bags is there waiting for us. Lovely King room, spacious and well equipped. The bed is one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Great location for doing most tourist attractions. Of course it’s expensive to stay but then quality always is and should be enjoyed by everyone at least once in your lifetime.

Nothing is too much at The Savoy! Literally the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish and every little detail was thought of! Nothing compares to staying at the Savoy and the feeling you get when you are there - just perfect! What I find the most impressive is that the staff all seem so happy in their roles, and its genuine - you don't get customer service like this anywhere else! Thank you once again for a wonderful and truly memorable stay!

The stay was excellent and the attention to detail was phenomenal, and what makes the difference. Don't arrive expecting anything to not be pricey, but the quality is through the roof. My only complaint, is that on top of paying 15% gratuity on drinks and dinner, an additional 15% is added to your bill on check out. For a one night stay for two people, when paying £600 a night, £300 on a meal (plus 15% tip) and £100 on drinks (plus 15% tip) I would have thought that an additional 15% tip on the total cost is a bit much. I'm not tight and totally appreciate the tip on dinner and drinks - but having tipped £50 already on a one night stay, an additional £90 tip added on felt a bit much, like being double-taxed.

The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. Food at the Thames Foyer was great and evening cocktails at Beaufort Bar were good. We have Room 828 which was a junior suite with a balcony. The view of the Thames whilst enjoying champagne & oysters was perfect. The Butler service was as expected. We felt comfortable throughout our stay. The only disappointment was The Savoy Grill. Not the service we expected to experience but the hotel has dealt with this well since our return and that has raised the score from an 8 to a 9.
