I Booked a single room for my grandmother (who has very high standards!) she said it was perfect. They were also very welcoming to me while waiting for her in the Lobby. Great location right in the center and good value all around.

Lovely hotel. Very clean and in a great area. Breakfast was excellent and really surpassed all expectations for a two star hotel. The staff serving breakfast were efficient, but still retained a cheerful attitude. Lounge area is roomy and comfortable, with free tea and coffee. The owners were happy for us to leave our luggage after checkout and use the...

Clean room every day. Very nice and helpful staff. Great english breakfast. Located close to the underground and to British museum. Comfortable beds and family room for five. No fancy place, but good value for money.

The hotel is run by the owners, who are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. We were asked every day where we wanted to go and if we needed help or directions how to get there. Mrs. Rees even offered to post my cards for me, when I could not find stamps. Gower street is fairly quiet although there are 7 bus...

I had a very nice stay at the Ridgemount Hotel. It was clean, convenient, fairly close to a tube station and within walking distance of the British Museum. The staff were lovely and I so enjoyed being served breakfast each morning by the kind, friendly servers. But, what put this hotel over the top for me was the quick assistance...

This hotel is convenient to everything, including the British Museum and the British Library. I stayed not once but twice in the same trip and was made to feel welcome and comfortable both times. The staff were friendly and helpful and even called me a limo service to Heathrow at the last minute to save me from hauling heavy luggage...

The location was very good with regard to popular tourist attractions (e.g. covent garden and numerous theatres - the British Museum was a mere 10 minute walk away) and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room and facilities were very good and clean and the family-run atmosphere made for a very welcoming stay. I would definitely consider re-booking...

My sister and stayed for two nights in a twin room at the Ridgemount. This is a family run hotel, with professional cleaning and breakfast staff. Our room was small, but very comfortable -- had a great night's sleep. We were on the ground floor, facing Gower St., but double glazed windows kept the noise out. Breakfast included eggs prepared...

Travelling with two kids (8 & 6 yrs) and my mum; arrived early but got the room anyway! We loved the pure English feeling there, just what we needed! The hotel is located next to the Goodge Street tube and the buses run in front the hotel. Excellent location for us! We did not want a luxury room and facilities,...

I always go back to The Ridgemount. There are plenty B&B's in the area, but the personal attention of this family run business is what makes it stand out. Also very clean and a good lounge with two computers and Wi-Fi for your phone or tablet. Nice detail is the garden, were you can sit. It is of course a...
