My husband, young adult children, and I very much enjoyed our stay. As other reviewers have mentioned, the hotel is low-key and family-owned. The breakfasts were perfect to set up our days of walking around the city. We loved the location, cleanliness, and safe feel of this friendly little hotel and we would stay here again.

Set in the trendy area of Bloomsbury, close to the West End and major transport links, this Georgian building offers a feel of a btgone era! What you might call a traditional hotel, with a friendly feel to it, but clean and appointed well enough to make your stay enjoyable. I would call it a bargain find, somewhere I would... More

Great family hotel really close to St. Pancras Eurostar train station, walking distance. Rooms are OK, byt will improve breakfast (included in the rate), both on service and hours. There's no elevator as is an old house - be aware that you must carry on the luggage till your room

We booked online, probably 3 months ago. Basically we looked at price first, then previous reviews.... Gotta say £350 for 2 nights B&B for me is way over the top, not really comfortable paying that much... The hotel is ok, the staff are polite, the room was good, comfortable beds. The food was ok, as you can see nothing exceptional... More

Hotel is clean, friendly, very well situated for Euston and Kings Cross. Furnishings old fashioned but functional. However, for the price I didn't expect the tiny shower room to smell of mould, the wood under the bathroom sliding door to be unpainted and rough, the window to be unopenable at all and the strong smell of cooking breakfast to wake... A nice little hotel with friendly staff and a hearty English breakfast cooked to order. Great location, only 10min walk from St Pancras rail station and close to public transport. I will be staying there again. Although my room was small it was comfy with a view onto the park outside.

My family enjoyed our stay at The Cresent Hotel in Bloomsbury. We were on the top floor- room 38. Arriving in London early in the morning, we much appreciated being able to check into our room immediately and not wait around until the usual check in time. You can enjoy a yummy English breakfast cooked in the breakfast room each... More

I've stayed here a dozen or so times. Last night was the first time I shared a room (a twin, number 17) and my first time with en suite. It was an excellent room. As always the staff were attentive and friendly, the breakfast was plentiful and the price fantastic. Two downsides: 1) when booking we weren't warned about the... More

Stopped over after travelling on Eurostar, Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the station. It is a converted georgian terrace so inside there are lots of stairs and doors, so if you have a mobility problem maybe avoid. However we were very pleased with the welcome, our room was spotless, free wi-fi, tea and hot chocolate available in the room... More
