Sorry, loved the room and 2 of the approx. dozen or so staff looking after guests at our High Tea. Felt total experience lacked mainly because of staff and their apparent disinterest. One staff member totally disregarded a conversation we had requesting water and an additional serving of plain scones. We had to ask another waiter who was helpful. Another...

My friend and I love to have afternoon tea in London and have tried many over the years. We went to The Langham on Sunday and had the most wonderful experience. The service is second to none and the food delicious and we had the most delightful afternoon. We thought the Ritz was hard to beat but Palm Court at...

Great historical hotel, incredible character in the building, location is pretty convenient too. What's not to like! To add to that, the rooms were very comfortable and the reception staff extremely courteous. However, the whole experience was let down by unhelpful concierge and worst of all, rude staff at one of the restaurants who simply couldn't be bothered to be...

Dear LondonerAbroad, We wish to thank you so very much for providing us with valuable feedback following your stay in April this year. I was delighted to note that you found the bedrooms to be very comfortable, the reception staff extremely courteous and the hotel to offer incredible character and provide a suitable location base whilst you were in residence....

We stayed in a beautiful spacious suite in the Langham. The executive lounge breakfast was very nice indeed. If you are looking to go high street shopping this hotel is walking distance to Oxford Street.

We stayed in two connecting newly renovated grand executive rooms in the Regent Wing at the Langham on our recent trip to London. The rooms were nice and spacious for a London hotel, but looked almost nothing like the photo on the website. It was not nearly as large or grand looking. I asked multiple people at the front desk...

I think this is the best 5* value/money option in London. Situated near Oxford circus this hotel is a perfect choice for weekend in London. We like almost everything there: rooms, breakfast, spa, gym. The only small drawback for me is a small swimming pool. But considering the fact there is a handful of hotels with high quality pools in...

Re-visited the Langham for the first time in around a year and was even better than I remembered it. Booked a Club exec room, as this time I wanted to sample and have the club lounge food/facilities on hand through the afternoon/early evening which would be handy for me. Arrived and with Club package you get checked in at another...

Artesian Bar in the lobby of this hotel was great - drinks that were both delicious and trippy, as in plastic bags infused with air that smelled like paint, to be popped by your server and producing a small vial of rhum, complete with narration behind the concept of your drink. The list goes on. We were booked in a...

I arrived at The Langham for business a few days ago and can't say enough good things about this property. The doormen were the most welcoming I've ever encountered (Martin, was it?) and the check-in experience was truly wonderful and personal. My room wasn't ready yet, so I was placed in Artesian (voted the best bar in the world) where...

An amazing afternoon tea treat for my birthday. The cakes and sandwiches were delicious, and the service second to non. We took advantage of trying different teas as well as relaxing in fantastic surroundings - they even played Happy Birthday on the piano and presented me with yet another lovely cake. A birthday treat to remember.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
