I stayed here with my other half for her 30th birthday celebrations. It was completely unplanned as I was expecting accommodation of a different kind. We had room 620 which was a spacious king with a room onto the great trainshed roof of St Pancras. It was clean, but there were one or two slight chips to the wood on...

Beautiful front end renovation of a landmark building attracted us to stay. Somewhat surprised to find the bedroom accommodation is a new build area behind the original building. Although the bedrooms are comfortable you could frankly be staying in any 4 star establishment in London and pay a lot less Surprised the room didn't have a bath and the shower...

We returned yet again to this marvelously restored Gilbert Scott edifice, rescued thanks to Michael Portillo. This time as a 5 day London trip prior to our own great railway journey hunting steam locomotives in the Harz mountains in the snow. The hotel blends the modernised touches with the old Victorian splendor of the huge rooms. We stayed as usual...

Inside this wonderful confection of Victorian high gothic celebration of the era of Steam, is a tasteful conversion of the old Station hall and atrium into a high end coffee and tea lounge, and restaurant and bar. Don't be put off by the somewhat standoff ish attitude of the staff, or the strange height, depth and situation of the soft...

Called after a glorious weekend in Windsor before our journey home. The bar was a hub of atmosphere and delicious food and drink choices. Our waiter Fernando was wonderful and spoilt us with little extras. The meal was amazing and the decadent surroundings made for a perfect end to the weekend.

Stayed for one night whilst travelling through from London Heathrow. Amazing building the walls almost whisper with tales from times gone by. My room was fine. Did not done so cannot comment. Obviously best location for St Pancras international and Kings Cross. Just be careful if they take a card for incidentals. I have been billed for £100 and did...

One night stop with the wife for a show in London. Good hotel, great food in the restaurant and good surroundings. Not cheap but good quality. Couple of issues with service, but quickly resolved by professional staff doing a great job. Viktoria on Reception was charming and could not do enough for us. Will return.

I've been wanting to stay here for s while. It's a 5* large hotel, with great food and fantastic staff. The staff really make the experience. If you're a resident, make sure you find the grand staircase. It's simply stunning. It near the entrance to the Gilbert Scott restaurant. Before booking, become a Marriot member (it's free). My family and I spend a weekend in the Victoria suite. What a place. The architecture is a gem, Victorian painstakingly restored to perfection, the apartment was modern and comfortable and serviced with all you need. It was lovely to use the club free of charge (included in suite price) and the swimming pool is a luxury Hammam type experience....
