Searching for a good sensibly priced hotel with a pool I stumbled upon the Town Hall Hotel in Bethnal Green. It scores highly in a number of areas. Very large, modern, well furnished rooms with big windows. Being tucked away from the main road its quite. Although the decor is ultra modern is works well with the cir.20s/30s(?) style of...

Dear Peaschipspieandgravy, Thank you sharing your positive opinion about the hotel with the Trip Advisor community, it is very much appreciated and the community which we help support around us shares your happiness and good will. We have a great Pie and Mash pub round the corner called the Camel. Me and my colleagues eat there regularly. Next time you...

We arrived at 1420 but our room wasn't ready. The receptionist said we were booked into room 302 and he would ask his boss about an alternative room. He arrived back and offered a room in the lower ground floor. I said I'd wait for 302, he said good choice as it had lovely views. We came back at 1530...

Dear martinedwardi, Thank you for taking the time to share a review of our hotel. Regretfully on busy weekends previous guests leaving very late sometimes prevent us from getting every single room ready in time for the next guest. We are sorry were not able to appreciate the quirkiness of the award winning privacy screen, shrouding parts of the hotel,...

The Good: Corner room for breakfast, comfortable beds, pleasant & efficient housekeepers and decent in-room coffee machine. The Bad: 'Sign Here, here & here' is the greeting you get from impersonal, unhelpful reception. Huge, ugly room with awful, dated (NOT stylish) 1980s office furniture. A useless 'free' mobile phone at the bedside that is not programmed to call hotel services...

Dear Robert C, Thank you for taking the time to share helpful and kind observations about your recent stay at Town Hall Hotel with the Trip Advisor community. We appreciate our sympathetic restoration of the listed town hall, the enormous rooms and refurbished (1960/70's) vintage Ercol and especially commissioned furniture are not to everyone's taste. However, you may be interested...

For someone who loves art and architecture, this hotel is the business. Think 1920s structure with mid-century Scandinavian furniture vibe, and you'd be spot on. Excellent check-in staff, and so quick (that's been so welcome on a few late-night arrivals). Each of the rooms in which I've stayed have been subtly different, some having cooking facilities in the form of...

We stayed here for 5 nights in February (taking advantage of the 5 nights for the price of 4 offer which was extremely good value as it included breakfast). My husband and I were in London for our son's wedding at nearby Stoke Newington and several other guests were also staying at this hotel at our son's recommendation - none...

In the past, we have stayed in West London but our daughter is studying uni in London and lives in east London so we choose Town Hall because of its location and proximity to her. We were pleasantly surprised during our stay here. We had a two bedroom suite on the lower ground floor. The suite was very large with...

The room was bigger than average size. Located in Bethnal Green, many fashionable shops and restaurants are nearby. Short tube ride to central london. I love hotel's history as well. on the day i arrive there was an engagement party. loud music until late night. lest of the nights were ok. It was a pleasure to stay.

Stayed at this hotel for the weekend as we were attending a Wedding. Very unusual hotel, a beautiful building with many original features. Large staircase that sweeps up to the 1st floor where there is a small restaurant serving breakfast. The wedding was in the original council chambers I think. It is a wood panelled round room and was perfect...
