This was our second time staying at the Walrus and the visit was once again fantastic. We brought quite a large group (20) and the staff was universally kind, accomodating, and helpful. We had a few minor incidents (nothing to do with the Hostel's fault at ALL) and the staff went out of their way to give us far more...

This hostel is in a great location and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, the guests in our room were very loud and inconsiderate, and the wifi didn't work all weekend. For £60+ a night for just a dorm, hopefully you'd at least get some working wifi.

Location, location, location! For where its located this place is worth every penny! Free breakfast in an authentic pub? Yes, thank you! I regret not being able to stay a whole weekend because when I got back Friday night the place was packed and filled with great energy. Too bad to leave at 2am Saturday morning. Womp! Regardless of my...

Not only is this hostel located right near Westminster, but also has an underground less than a 5 minute walk! We arrived at midnight due to being held up at customs, I was worried and emailed them and we are very grateful that when we arrived they had waited up for us. All the workers were so lovely and accommodating....

An excellent stay, fast balled at 08.45 at night with nowhere to stay, rand the Walrus and spoke to one of their outstanding staff. No problem for this highly professional team. I was the only guest in this warm, clean comfortable establishment, in a four bedroom room. If you are an experienced traveller or just starting out a great place...

I was in this bar only for a moment. I decided to try the local beer. Everywhere there is only 4% brewery so I have nothing more to expect, but the most important thing is that the place is extremely charming. Cool, unique atmosphere, and super friendly service make you want to return to this place. I highly recommend.

We recently visited London on a euro trip and stayed here. We found it super affordable and the staff was super awesome and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was super cool but the beds weren't very comfortable, but for the price you can't expect a pillow top mattress.

I haven't been yet, but I'll be going in Summer 2017. I'm spending a month in Europe with about 10 days in the U.K. I was trying to figure out how to store my uk souvenirs while traveling the rest of the continent as I won't really have space to bring it all with me in Europe's budget airlines. So...

We stayed here for one night as a cheaper place to stay in London and I would 100% stay here again. The bar has a great atomsphere and feels really welcoming to all! You get what you pay for accomodation wise but the atmosphere really makes the place.

By far the best introduction to London. My phone died and I had no adapter. After many hours of both exploring and looking for the Walrus, I finally found it :) I must have looked sweaty, lost, and thirsty, because I was given a beer right away -haha. Check-in was easy and they have specials for guests. When you get...
