2021 Travellers' Choice Best of the Best
Renowned for its elegant central Piazza, charming independent market stalls, vibrant street performers, and for having some of the best luxury shopping and fine dining in the capital, not to mention being home to the world-famous Royal Opera House and West End theatres, Covent Garden is one of London's most enchanting and inspirational destinations. The Resident Covent Garden is just a 3-minute walk from the main central Piazza (and within a 5-minute walk from both Covent Garden and Charing Cross stations), providing an oasis of calm right in the heart of the action. It offers 57 stylish and thoughtfully designed contemporary bedrooms, each featuring bespoke furniture hand-made locally in West London, luxurious throws and cushions made from natural fibres woven on the Isle of Bute, Scotland, and special edition Paul Smith Anglepoise lamps, as part of the brand’s focus on quality British design and craftsmanship. They each also feature our signature in-room Mini Kitchen.

If you ever need to stay in the heart of London , this is the place to stay . What makes this hotel stand out from the others is the welcome the staff provide to its guests. From the very outset when I contacted the hotel Via telephone concerning potentially an NHS concession, I was met with a willingness to help , to explain and ultimately provide options . They took a genuine interest. This level of service carried forward to my arrival at reception , they couldn’t do enough and what was so pleasing they remembered the reason for my stay which was a birthday celebration. I did not expect what they subsequently arranged without charge but it was awesome.

Really pleasant room. Great to have small food prep/microwave area, and a Nespresso machine as std.room was ultra modern, beds were really comfy, and a nice large walk in shower, rather than a a bath.

Dear Glund42, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience following your stay at The Resident Covent Garden. I am grateful to read that you had such a fantastic time with us and enjoyed your room. The Resident Covent Garden opened in February 2019 and ever since, we have received so much stunning feedback about our super comfortable beds which are from The Bed Factory in Liverpool, all our beautiful fabric is from Bute in Scotland and all our furniture are from West London. It truly gives me joy that we exceeded your expectations. The team and I hope to be welcoming you back soon. Kind regards, Bettina Hotel Manager

We loved this hotel! We booked it solely for the location and as we were curious about the #1 rated hotel out of 1000+ options in London. The price point was also a factor! And the hotel really met our expectations in every way - amazing location for walking or taking public transit, SUPER comfortable rooms (we slept soooo well!), really accommodating service/staff, great amenities, CLEAN room, great COVID policies...quiet area...everything was wonderful! Would recommend to anyone visiting London and wanting to be near all the tourist attractions and shopping and amazing food (esp. Chinatown)!

Dear FrequentFlier766560, Thank you so much for this fantastic 5* review! It gives me so much joy to hear that your stay was GREAT and you couldn't fault anything. The hotel was designed with our guests in mind by creating spaces that are so cosy and comfortable as well as giving a relaxing atmosphere. I am happy the room was to your satisfaction: everything in the room from the fabrics to furniture and bedding is all British made. The location is really unbeatable within walking distance to most bars, restaurants and the famous theatre land. We are blessed to be in one of the most charming and buzzing areas of London. The whole team is pleased to see that their effort did not go unnoticed as we continue in our mission to create little moments of magic that lift the soul and make unforgettable memories. Thank you once again and I do hope to see you sometime in the near future. Kind regards, Bettina Hotel Manager

We throughly enjoyed our stay and found the Covent Garden market and theatre’s easy to get to and plenty of restaurants and pubs to choose from. And very easy to go sightseeing. And would highly recommend this hotel.
