My daughter and I just spent 11 nights in a Deluxe Studio apartment on the first level overlooking the street. The room was light and airy with a small balcony overlooking a private garden of neighbouring residents. It was a perfect base for our holiday as we could get to attractions across central London quickly as Earl's Court tube station...

I visited with my wife and two grown children for 5 days of sightseeing. The Presidential offered a room with a double bed and separate room with sleeper sofa that opens to two singles. The room also has an efficiency kitchen and washer/dryer. The place is older and not posh, but the location is very close to the Earls Court...

I'm here now. Room is still being cleaned at 4pm, so I can't get into it. Room is fine. Clean and ok. But some really annoying small things: 1. Room is VERY warm. Heating controls make no difference. Windows are all nailed shut. I reported this and they say they moved the last guest out because it was too warm....

I like this Service Apartment : excellent hotel location and nice cosy room. I dislike the service part where on one occasion the room was not clean. I informed the reception, the response was really unimpressed. The housekeeping took hours to arrive just to bring the tower, the housekeeping lady was very sarcastic when she came finally arrived and commented...

I booked a Deluxe Studio last minute as I was meeting family in London and felt that I would need to stay the night. In general, this place was perfect for just that in all aspects, though because of the facilities it has it would be great for longer stays too. Room The Deluxe Studio is a very impressive room,...

I tried to make this short but there were things that I just could not edit out. If you follow my reviews, you’ll know that I am very fair. The only 2 redeeming things were that the staff (those who spoke English) were wonderful. Also, the location isn’t too bad. We stayed here for eleven nights over Christmas. So, if...

Staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Great location. Wifi needs to be upgraded and rooms are VERY warm. Lots of space in room and more than adequate facilities. Would definitely stay again.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
