I've stayed at Marlin Waterloo several times now and it's become my new favourite hotel in London. The location is simply perfect if you're looking for somewhere that's central and well connected. It's so easily accessible by bus, tube or on foot, but at the same time it also feels very private and serene. In a city where hotel rooms can be pretty cramped, I absolutely love how spacious the rooms at Marlin Waterloo are, especially for the price. The rooms are clean and well-maintained - the beds are comfortable, the furnishings are tasteful, and the kitchenettes have all the items and utensils you need to prepare simple meals. The common spaces are also very clean, spacious and well-maintained. The staff at the Marlin are friendly and always willing to help. I've enjoyed every stay I've had here and am looking forward to the next.

My Brother in Law was staying at the Hotel on a Engineering Conference. Due to a very tight schedule was unable to visit us. My Husband as a result was upset not to see his Junior Brother. Hence as a surprise for the two Brothers rung up on the Wednesday morning the hotel Reservations Team and spoke to a lovely Girl called Jade who was fantastic and she talked me through whilst I did a on-line reservation in order to get discount to check in that day after 2pm. We parked our car outside the congestion charge area and took the bus to Waterloo Station and the Hotel was less than 10 minutes walk. Next door to a well known coffee place and Sainsbury( as room had a fridge and microwave got our supplies and alcohol at Sainsbury)
On check in requested a room near the Brother in Law and got the room next door. As you can imagine the Brother in Law was over the moon with his surprise when he returned from his last day at his Conference. My Sister who lives in London had prepared a lovely meal and our Son and the Brother's Cousin turned up and we had a lovely meal in the apartment with the help of a takeaway from the local Nados near Waterloo Station
The next day we remained after the 11am check out at the Reception Area till the Shuttle Bus for the Brother in Law arrived at 2pm
We have stayed at various hotels and apartments around the world and we where impressed with the Marlin. The location is excellent and easy to find and the whole complex was clean and of a high standard and very secure with all the amenities you would wish although not sure if it had a pool.
The only 3 faults are they do not offer a full English for Breakfast and what they do offer should be complementary and not the price they charge. They do not provide English tea bags in the apartment or at Breakfast and not sufficient tea and coffee supplies in the apartment. We waited in the Reception Area for 3 hours along with the Delegates from the Conference whilst they waited for their Airport Shuttle Bus and the Marlin does not provide complementary refreshments not even hot water - had to go to the next door coffee place( some of the Delegates where from Economical poor countries and the coffee place next door charges rather high prices and the same of Sainsbury's coffee machine)
Despite these 3 negative comments had a lovely time at the Marlin and would highly recommend it and should I ever have the same opportunity to stay here would do so but would take my own tea bags, sugar, milk and flask
Thank you to all the Staff we came across

We stayed there to chime in the new decade.

It is close enough to the London Eye - we could see it from the hotel - but due to road closure, it was not easy to get back after bringing in the New Year at Victoria Embankment.

Having said that, on normal days and times, Lambeth North Underground is just 2 minutes away. It is opposite the hotel. It allowed us to be in city centre within 5 minutes. Charing Cross, Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus a part of Bakerloo line and since it is the second stop for the line, the train is always almost empty.

Waterloo Rail Station and Underground is also around the corner. I discovered ithat when I took a walk to Waterloo Southplace and walking through the famous Vault/Leake Street (street painting/graffiti). It is a short walk to London Eye and the Dungeons and Aquarium.

The aparthotel has a bar. Along the street there is Pret A Manger, sandwich shop, pubs and Costa is just across the road.

I was travelling for days by the time I reached Marlin Waterloo and i welcome the self-service washing machine and dryer in the aparthotel.

We noticed a slight draft coming into the room. Otherwise, it was a comfortable stay. Wish they had more toiletries though.

Wow.
The location is great, you are a 5-10mon walk to the Waterloo tube station and about 5-10 min walk to the london eye.
We loved this hotel and would highly recommend it. We booked the hotel via Wowcher as it was much cheaper this way and saved around £150. We stayed for2 nights and the very kind lady on reception upgraded our room (floor 3 / room 319). The hotel is spotless and the room was beautiful. What I loved the most about this hotel was the breakfast set up, continental or ready made hot breakfast rolls. We loved the layout of the breakfast as it was different, you literally help yourself and its like a home style environment.
The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming and made the check in super easy.
Highly recommended, will be returning.

I stayed in the Marlin Waterloo for 2 nights from 3-5 December with my family. The hotel itself is lovely and is situated in an ideal location, turn right at the front door and you have the Lambeth north underground station, turn left at the front door and you can see the London eye which is only a ten minute walk away. The hotel is very fresh, modern and well kept. We stayed in room 313 which had a large double bed and a pull out sofa bed along with a small kitchenette, we only used the kitchen to make tea/coffee but it had all of the amenities you would need to cook a meal and even had a small dishwasher. The shower was powerful and there were plenty towels. We didn’t use the gym but we peeped into it one evening and it had all of the facilities you would expect a hotel gym to have. Overall, we had a wonderful experience staying in the Marlin Waterloo, in my opinion it is great value for money and the location is ideal. I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in London and would absolutely recommend the hotel to a friend.

This hotel was amazing value for money. Only about a 5 minute walk from Westminster. We could even see the London eye from our room. From beginning to end, everything was perfect. We checked in smoothly, the rooms were super clean, comfortable and spacious. Next door there is a Sainsbury’s and Pret which is handy. The was a fridge in the room too which is great!

We stayed for my mum’s 50th birthday and I called ahead to let the hotel know and they made a cake out of towels and left it in the room which was very sweet.

All in all great value for money and 100% would stay there every time I’m in London.

Be careful when booking and getting to the place as I was over charged and this was not even looked at carefully. This was only due to the kind lady the next day who spotted this and advised that her colleague didn’t even update the system to show I made the payment. I had to provide bank statements and receipts to prove I paid and turned out I only got 30 pound back. Rooms do not get cleaned when you are staying either, given it states in their description that rooms are cleaned every other day (we stayed for 4 nights and not once was our room cleaned).

Highly recommend this hotel. Clean, spacious with a great kitchenette, well equipped with fridge, microwave, job and dishwasher - even a proper coffee press with ground coffee supplied!
Location is great, less than 10 minutes from London Eye and Houses of Parliament,.
Several supermarkets within 2 minutes walk (Tesco, Sainsbury's, Costcutter) .
Room was bigger than expected - we had a queen studio. It had a sofa as well as a king sized bed.
Bed was very comfortable and despite overlooking Westminster Bridge road Road , we experienced no noise at all.
Towels were soft and larger than usual and toiletries provided were of high quality ( L'Occitane).
Reception was spacious, staff friendly and efficient and the whole area was filled with the loveliest aroma. .

Our two night stay was a dream. Firstly just being opposite the Lambeth North Tube Station meant an easy ride into Town to enjoy the fun. Our accommodation was superb and the skyline view of trains leaving Waterloo Station did not spoil our experience.
The King Size bed was very comfort and the room offered everything we needed including a coffee machine and tea making facilities The bathroom was great with it's separate shower unit. In fact it felt as if everything was band spanking new.
Breakfast offered a varied continental breakfast with bread, fruit, flakes and hot bacon, sausage and egg rolls and plenty of tea and coffee. Great staff who were very efficient at clearing everything away. We'll be back and we'll enjoy meeting the fab staff again especially the reception team leader, Paul.

I travlled with my wife and 3 kids for a quick trip to London.
The intention was to do the attractions and avoid the tune due to the age of the kids and a pram.
This hotel is in a perfect location if you want to do attractions in and around the London Eye it is literally a 5 minute walk.
We booked parking at Brittanis parking on Upper Mesh which was literally a 2 minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel was clean and better than expected.
The breakfast was poor [not worth the money] the kids only had cereal and we had one bite of the egg sandwich.
Please allow time for checkin, it took some time and we had a booking at London eye so I was nervous we may miss the slot we were allocated.
The staff were really professional, they offered us an upgrade for £10 extra which was worth it as you have more facilities for children [heating milk/food etc].
