This property is definitely geared to a business clientele. While it had all the amenities of a high-end luxury hotel, something was missing. Warmth was not a feeling that came to mind. Hotel service was overall very good with the exception of the bar, where the service was somewhat indifferent. Breakfast was terrible. Far too many people cramped into a...

I was satisfied with experience and with the room. Everything was nice and clean. Stuff and manager helpful and attentive. ( the few suits away accommodations were pretty loud, I guess they sort of books several rooms and kept running from one room to another, constantly leaving they garbage and shopping bags next to the door) but hotel was taking...

It could be better for 5 star hotel but overall it's OK. What I liked: 1. Location 2. Room quality. 3. Breakfast What I did not like: 1. Bath is very inconvinient for use 2. Lack of bathroom accessories 3. The door to the corridor is inside the entire (see the picture) room. So you can hear everydoby passing by...

Good location and nice boutique style hotel. Lift doors are very aggressive, my daughter actually got hurt by them when they closed. Food was good and waitress in the restaurant were very friendly. Wouldn't stay here again, there are other better hotels in London for less than this price.

Just arrived home from a mid-week birthday break celebrating my 30th in London. The Mayfair hotel was fabulous. Staff are so welcoming and helpful. Bed so comfy , breakfast delicious and the cocktails in the Mayfair bar were outstanding! A lady with blonde hair checked us in (Alexandra - I hope I have spelt her name correctly) and she ensured...

This hotel feels more like a prison, the rooms are not so welcoming. The type of furniture they have does not help at all, it does not feel 5 star at all. The reception is nice and so is the restaurant and the staff are very good, welcomed us with the so much respect. It's a shame as the service...

We stayed at the Mayfair in Summer, 2015. It's location in the heart of Mayfair proved to the perfect base to explore London our nine day visit. It is 200 yards from the underground station and walking distance to Bond St. shopping and Buckingham Palace. The hotel room that we had, while not having a spectacular view, was oversized, spotless...

Had a lovely stay at the Mayfair. We stayed in a family room for 3 nights. This room has two bathrooms. The beds were very Comfortable and room services was excellent. However, the morning breakfast was a bit disappointing as the staff were slow and did not really seem bothered at times. The hotel has a good gym and a...

Stayed here for our 23rd wedding anniversary for 3 nights. Very central location & attentive staff, breakfast was delicious & ate in the restaurant on one night, a bit disappointed food served on cold plates & wasn't piping hot! A bit pricey but it is central London !

We booked as a treat for my 50th birthday and were very impressed by this hotel. When we arrived, Victor on the front desk was very friendly, our room wasn't quite ready and Ipek sorted it out quickly. We were moved to a wonderful room, 611, spacious, very clean with a lovely bathroom. We were treated to complementary fizz, brownies...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
