Family of 5, including 3 mid teem to early 20's. Advertised as a '2 Room' apartment it would be that one bedroom for the 2 parents and the younguns use the other bedroom. Well no... it's one room where there is a mezzanine upper floor been added (badly) and 2 'double' beds on the upper parts and fold out bed...

Hotel should make their check in process clearer. Having booked this through a travel website I recieved no details that upon arrival guests have to go down the road to a hotel to check in. I clearly wasn't the only one as whilst I was stood at the apartment trying to figure out what to do several other guests arrived...

Being a family of 5 we struggle with hotel rooms and this was one of the cheapest but ok'ishly (is that a word?) reviewed properties in central London so I took a gamble and booked it via an offer with American Express. As other people have mentioned you need to check into a hotel further down the same road to...

When we arrived to our apartment it stank of paint and there was an open paint bucket still in there and the lid on he floor. We got moved to another room where the shower plug didn't work and flooded the bathroom, there was no shower hook so I had to hold the shower head while I showered. There was...

I stayed here for 2 nights with my friends as it was close to Hyde Park. Upon arrival we were excited to have booked such a wonderful apartment in such a stunning building. The living area was small but that was fine, we didn't plan to spend much time there. The layout was great with the bedroom overlooking the lounge...

The Superior Double Studio at 30 Inverness Terrace was anything but superior. The room was cramped, unclean, damaged furniture and stained doona's on the bed. The bathroom was so small with very poor ventilation that we needed to keep the door open whilst taking a shower and then we had to dry ourselves in the bedroom. The noise from the...

I stayed at this hotel recently. They had bed bugs and i had terrible bites all over my body. They first told me that they will refund me but they didn't even reply my emails or answer my calls. Terrible hotel-terrible management- and terrible manager. Don't even think to go in the rooms!!!!

location is great and budget friendly. Very close to the subway station. Other than that don't expect more. The bathrooms were not clean. Half of the electronic devices they provide in the room are not working. Breakfast was ok.

Our recent trip to the UK allowed us a few days in London. We booked an apartment, Hyde Park Quality Apartments but when we went to register we were redirected to another building to register. At this building we registered and again were redirect to our accommodation, in another building. When we finally got to our "apartment" we were disappointed...

The apartment is conveniently located about 35mins away from London Heathrow airport. Nearby is sainbury store and plenty of food outlets. The apartment we stayed in is no 4 at 32 block. One bedroom one bathroom with a kitchenette. yIt has a TV, small portable fridge, kettle, toaster machine, electric burners, pots and basic dining set. The mattress in the...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
