this was the most terrifying horrible experience I have ever had in my life. one whole day of waiting to get the keys, no porter, no reception and no one answers the emergency number on the website. After hundreds of calls some weird guy answers...More
We arrived only to be told that the room we'd booked and paid for had got the decorators in and as such we were unable to stay! The housekeeper, who spoke almost no English, said there was another room in the basement, but for a...More

Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal
a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.

I last stayed at this hotel 2 years ago, and from reading recent reviews it saddens me that there has been absolutely NO improvement in anything. How is this place still running and not checked for health and safety etc it's appalling. And worse still taking money from people's bank accounts without confirming with them. If this hotel was up to standards, I would be a very regular customer and most likely the same for other people!
