The hub by Premier Inn London Westminster, St James's Park hotel garners compliments for its exemplary cleanliness, especially in the guest rooms, although a few guests suggest the common areas could be better maintained. The staff's friendly and efficient service contributes to the welcoming vibe, despite some remarks about the occasionally dark and stuffy atmosphere.
While the rooms are noted to be compact, they are praised for being well-appointed, and the hotel's central location is a highlight for visitors looking to explore the city. The inclusion of complimentary beverages and a satisfactory breakfast adds to the value, making it a reasonable choice for those conscious of their budget.

Detailed Reviews
I stayed in the Hub in July 2022 as well as July 2023 and it was excellent on both occasions. Last time there was a fair amount of construction noise but that is nearly all finished now and there is a nice new plaza on the other side of the road with some places to eat and outdoor seating. Its proximity to St James' Park tube station makes it a great location.
The hotel was great as usual, with very welcoming and helpful staff. We were a little surprised that one of the rooms we were allocated on the 4th floor was a windowless room, I think I've only encountered those on the lower ground floor before. As I mentioned last year, do be aware the rooms have been retrofitted into an existing building, so are rather strange cubes which don't actually align with the shape of the building and you may find you have a window which looks out on to a small air gap and then an outdoor window.
I don't find the beds in the Hub very comfortable, but I asked for a couple of extra pillows on the second night and that helped. I've rated sleep quality as 4 stars because there was no noise, which is the main thing.
The wifi was excellent, I did some work in the hotel whilst there and had no problems with Teams calls etc.
My only word of caution, as it was last year, is about wheelchair access. Once through the door of the hotel is certainly wheelchair accessible; the lobby is up a flight of stairs but there is a wheelchair lift. However, the path from the Tube station has a lamp post right in the middle of it and the path on the other side of the road has an incredibly steep kerb drop in it, without a matching one outside the hotel from what I can remember. I would not want to attempt this kerb drop either up or down. Coming at the hotel from the other direction, the road was completely closed off each day and the path when open was covered in scaffolding and would be very difficult to navigate. Thus I would still have to recommend that wheelchair users avoid this hotel, which is a shame because the issues are outside the hotel's control.

As per the title you can not make a better choice! Impeccable service, cleanliness and professionalism are at home. 24-hour reception, easy check in and check out, free luggage storage to use every available minute of the holiday even after you have checked out. Super modern and spacious rooms (I chose the bigger) also equipped with functional hairdryer (not the usual toy), bathroom with shower comfortable and functional, super air conditioning, all, including lights, manageable from the back of the bed. Quality breakfast buffet including croissants, pain au chocolat, muffins, porridge, fruit and toast. Missing the salty part, I expected sausages, beans, eggs and cold cuts, in short the classic English breakfast, but for the cost of breakfast (and the costs of London in general) is given away. Absolutely great location, 200 meters from Westminster Cathedral and tube and bus stops, no sore notes. Absolutely recommended. Definitely will be back!

Comfortable, central and totally recommended hotel. Very attentive staff, correct facilities. Functional rooms, with extra comfortable beds and digital panel to control lights and temperature. Modern bathroom with large shower (they have a hairdryer) There is a Spanish plug. Very good buffet breakfast and to get you out of a hurry they have several dishes for lunch or dinner that you can take to the room. They have a very cozy bar. Very well located, 2 minutes walk from the metro station and bus stop. Next to Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. It was totally a success, I would repeat if we return to London.

The hotel is in a very quiet side street, just around the cornber from Westminster. It is a brilliant, central location, handy for underground, St James' Park and many iconic tourist sights.
I was pleasantly surprised by the room, which, although small, had a very comfortable, large bed, big screen TV, hanging space and an excellent bathroom with a lovely shower; soap dispensers and large, fluffy towels included. The lighting and air-con is controlled by touch buttons on the headboard. Reception is a desk in the ground floor lounge and breakfast room, which is a comfortable space to relax, surf, chat, make tea or coffee. There was a great range of tea/coffee facilities, including decaff and soya milk- of which we were very glad. The staff were very obliging, issuing tickets for our cases when we checked out so we could pick them up later in the day. We'd have liked tea and coffee making in our room and a small fridge would have made life a little easier, but generally I'd say this is an excellent place for a London stopover.

I needed a hotel for the night prior to heading off on Eurostar the next afternoon . Location was perfect for visiting sites enroute to St Pancras and was an easy walk from Victors tube which was important to me as was travelling alone and arrived after 11pm . Hotel was a welcome site after a 13 hour journey , self check in very simple and desk was manned by welcoming staff . Room was perfect - although classified as basic, it had everything you could need and was not cramped . Bathroom very well appointed and bed was comfy . All was very well thought out. Breakfast in the morning was great and the surrounding very pleasant. I would definitely book again and was quite sorry that I hadn’t booked for my return journey !

I booked this hotel for my wife's 40th birthday, it was important for us to have a central location and easy access to the theatre in the evening and this hub ticked every box.
We arrived at about 2:30 on Friday afternoon and the friendly person in reception allowed us to check in. We booked a bigger room which was located on the third floor and while the view out the window was of a brick wall we found the size acceptable and the room clean. The bathroom was a good size and it was nice to have a walk-in shower rather than the bath-style shower found at most premier inns.
We quickly dropped the bags off and went for a walk which took us to Buckingham Palace (10mins) and a nice gentle stroll through St Jame's Park and Horse Guards Parade, Downing Street, The Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey, overall a nice circular walk that was all located around this hotel.
In the evening we chose to eat around the corner at Caxton Grill - 5* just the best steak ever.
On Saturday we took the tube to Fulham Palace for the Parkrun, by the time we returned breakfast was just finishing and there wasn't much left, a little disappointed but took advantage of the free tea and coffee. A quick shower and another tube ride to Madame Tussauds, Oxford Street a spot of lunch before returning to the hotel to freshen up for the theatre.
We made the mistake of taking an Uber to the theatre, we only just made it! Next time use the tube.
The hub was perfect for the location, the room was quiet and with the aircon, we were able to set the temperature to what we wanted. Plenty of hot water. Our room wasn't cleaned and this was our mistake as this is something you have to request.
Ours only disappointment with this location is this didn't have a proper bar area. You could get drinks but you had to wait for a member of staff to make an appearance to open the fridge to get you a bottle of something. There was another hub around the corner which did appear to have a bar and seemed better to chill in the evening.

Booked this hotel based on the location and price and ended up being pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel and the facilities. It was a small room but it was only for an overnight stay for a London Theatre Trip. Very close to the tube station which meant we were able to explore the city the following day and the hotel stored our luggage; bonus!

I’ve stayed at a few Hub Hotels in London so new what to expect. This was my first stay at this one, although I have stayed at the one round the corner on Tothill Street. I prefer this one, not sure why, certainly there was a warmer greeting on arrival. Hub hotels have a policy of not allowing anyone to check in even a few minutes before 3pm and the staff can appear quite cross if you dare to turn up early, even when raining! Not here. I arrived about 2.30 having travelled to London from Wales by train. The woman receptionist greeted me warmly, advised me of the 3 pm check in and told me I could have tea or coffee in the meantime. Once she realised I was staying for four nights she actually checked me in a few minutes before 3 which was great.
As I had stayed at other Hub hotels the diminutive size of the room was expected and not a surprise. These rooms are fine for one person. They are OK for couples as the bed is the usual huge Premier Inn size mattress, but of course very little floor space. My room was clean with bottled water to welcome me. Everything worked including the heater / air-con and the shower was powerful although I was on the 4th floor. One thing I really appreciate about the hotels are the towels which are large white bath sheets that appear quite new on every occasion I have stayed.
As others will have said, there is no kettle in the room but there is tea and coffee available from the ground floor 24 hours a day. There is also a reasonable continental breakfast at £5 and the ground floor bar/breakfast area is very pleasant. I would recommend Hub hotels to anyone wanting to avoid some of the exorbitant charges of London hotels and this particular one is my new favourite in the chain. Highly recommend.

It was such an easy stay: in a great location opposite the underground, girls looked new, smart and very clean with a nice smell to welcome you through the door. Rooms were very clean and comfy -especially the large bed. Lounge area was relaxing, welcoming and well stocked- would definitely visit again!

We just booked the biggest room on the website. I might suggest doing that then emailing the property and explain your situation. I hope that helps.
