Very good location and great traditional atmosphere. Excellent breakfast and good beer. Room has everything you need. Bathroom is clean and they provide you with all accessoires you might need, such as shampoo, soap and also hair conditioner. Bus station and tube are right in froint of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers. The staff...

What really let this hotel down was the check in and welcome. We arrived maiden with bags on both shoulders and were prevented from getting our rooms as staff said I'd made a double booking. Firstly they said I'd booked 3 rooms (instead of the required 2), then they changed this to 4 rooms. Unless I could show that I'd...

My wife and i stayed at The Wellington on a recent visit to London. Not only are the rooms comfortableand spacious , the breakfast cracking, and the hotel in a convenient position for getting around London; the staff are a great bunch, helpful, proactive, with a wilco attitude. A special mention to Mark, the landlord, what a brilliant geezer who...

Conveniently located right across from the entrance of Waterloo Station. This gives you quick and easy access to public transportation. The hotel has a nice central location in the city. The rooms are small but equipped with everything you need. The staff is friendly and they have a nice selection of breakfast options. You can hear the trains from some...

Beautiful club sandwich and delicious London Pride ale at the Wellington. Superb service and Fullers beers. Top place to meet for a veer, grab some lunch with colleagues or watch sports. The team are fantastic. Happy

I was looking for a hotel close to the Oxo Tower, and the Wellington seemed an appropriate price and is less than ten minutes' walk away. It was also handy that I was able to book through Booking.com, as I wanted to be able to pay on the day rather than at booking time. The hotel's pretty easy to find:...

The room was very small and came with ear plugs! The main line could just about be touched from my room window, great if there is ever a zombie attack for a means of escape! Found it hard to get food downstairs because it was busy and when I did the food was cold. Ok for 1 night.

My room was No.25 on the top floor. 61 steep steps with no lift and a VERY heavy suitcase. Ear plugs lying on the bedside table were an omen for the level of train noise since the room overlooked some of the lines into Waterloo Station. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, free WiFi and free drink if...

Stayed one night after going to the O2. Lovely clean modern room, well stocked bar, had a couple of cheeky glasses of wine. Breakfast was great, right by Waterloo underground, perfect for us and just £50 for the 2 of us..... bargain
