Hand upon heart we shall never return to this establishment. Note: Wholly unsuitable for anyone who is mobility impaired. We booked a twin room,(room 2) for 2 nights. 12 minutes walk to Leyonstone tube station. The room was clean as was the rest of the premises. Our room looked on to Epping forest the breeze cut through the windows as...

I stopped here over a weekend while working close by. I had a single room on the top floor over looking the back of the hotel, the room was clean and nice with a pleasant stay over all for the price paid. The food was good also and shower was good the only slight problem I had was the noise...

Stayed in a family room with friends for a birthday, such good value and opposite Hollow Ponds which is one of my favourite places in London. Would definitely stay again. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and Guinness in the bar downstairs is £3.15 which one of my friends was very happy about! it has a country pub kind of...

Stayed here for five nights while visting a sick relative in nearby Whipps Cross Hospital. Good experience - hostess stayed late to accommodate my late night arrival. Room was spartan but had everything one might really needs. Well heated, clean, friendly and economic. Nice bar and decent food at decent price. Happy staying here - would encourage others. Simply efficient

Great value hotel within easy reach of Central London. Bus stop outside the door and tube station on the Central line a 10-15 min walk away. Westfield Centre within easy reach. Decent sized car park available free, cooked full English included in price. Decent room size, clean and tidy. Bar prices amazing for London. I agree with some of the...

A good location with a bus stop outside and only a 15 min walk to Leytonstone station where there is a direct line into central London. Our double room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the forest land. The bar is cozy and surprisingly cheap with good beer and a log fire. Price includes breakfast.

Stayed here twice over Christmas and New Year weekends as it was easy to visit relatives. Although the rooms were clean and tidy, and the included breakfast was great, there were a few things that stopped me from giving a higher rating. Firstly we were unable to regulate the heating so had to open the windows - unusual in Dec/Jan...

I only stayed for two nights over Friday and Saturday. The price was extremely good especially as it included breakfast. The room was very clean and comfortable. I was welcomed by a friendly member of staff and the booking in experience was made to be very easy.
