Oh dear! This place is so difficult to review. Yes, it's a bit of a dated dump but size and location wise it's perfect! We had two apartments on the 11th floor, one 2 double bed and one double bed. Both were HUGE! But so old and seriously in need of modernising. Rubbish bathroom, rubbish shower, no hot water in...

We must have been upgraded to a large 2 bedroom rather than the regular 2 bedroom I booked because this apartment was really very large considering its location in the center of London (11th floor, #29). Really a very livable space for our family of 4 (plus one guest friend). We werent expecting the additional half-bath, so that was a...

Had a 3 bdrm unit with an American family with teens. Absolutely central location for walking to many London sites. But the unit was bare bones. One full bath, with a shower that barely spit water, and another small half bath. No real kitchen equipment to cook with except inexpensive basics. Unit (#25) reminded me of visiting a middle class...

This was the second time visiting London for vacation in the last three months. The first time I stayed in Holiday Inn and this time because we were 5 persons in Lakeview court. I have to say that the location is perfect, the apartment was very clean and everything was great! It is highly recommended, especially if you want to...

Our large young family found this apartment clean, spacious & in a great location. Staff attached to the apartment were extremely helpful and accomodating when we left a mobile phone behind. Quite well priced for central London stay.

We stayed two nights in an appartment overlooking the rear rooflines, not a street frontage. The unit did not have towels but these were brought up to us from the hotel upon request. We found the place quite scruffy but moderately clean and certainly spacious after experiencing a central Paris hotel. The washing machine operation was a mystry but after...

We chose the apartment on the basis of the location and that it could fit a family of four comfortably with some 'space' after a 2 week bus tour up from Rome. No problems on checking in and it was what we had expected and hoped for - a spacious and comfortable apartment in a good location. Yes it was...

My husband, myself and 2 daughters stayed on the 11th floor during February. The apartment was clean enough but very run down and shabby. The door on the first bedroom would not close. Curtains were ill fitting and rails were hanging off. Wallpaper and borders were hanging. No extra/spare bedding or blankets. Windows were very draughty, cills were unpainted and...

We have just returned from a 5 day trip to London, we stopped in a 3 bed apartment - number 1 on the 9th floor. We were very apprehensive after having read the many negative reviews on here but decided to take a chance and go ahead anyway. The apartment was large- well big enough for the six of us...

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
