I spent 4 nights at Juliette's with m,y two sons visiting London. i was really attracted by pictures and location. However, there are many problems. First, the house has no or extremely bad insulation. It was basically cold, especially bathroom and you could hear the traffic on a not-to-busy road so that we could not sleep. Secondly room was small...

We stayed here for four nights in late September and early October. We arrived after dark one rainy evening. We had no problem finding the place - the directions provided were simple and easy to follow. There is no sign. The B&B is in a very impressive Georgian townhouse. We climbed the (slippery when wet) marble stairs to the front...

It's in a fantastic location, very close to Notting Hill station and good for Paddington. The rooms are clean, interesting decor (not in a bad interesting way!) and the hosts were wonderfully friendly. We were able to leave our bags there during the day after check out. The continental breakfast was perfectly nice, and I like that it was served...

Arriving late after a long train journey, I was shown a charming room on the garden floor with easy access for luggage. Interesting and unusual furnishings, very comfortable bed and spotless and very efficient bathroom. Breakfast was served on a groaning trolley in the room and the coffee was excellent To cap it all, when I left my Kindle behind,...

I think I have found the place to stay for my future London visits. Can i just say the rooms are beautiful! They should probably put up more photos to show everyone. Also known as 'Dawson Place', It is located in the upper middle class area of Notting Hill. You can imagine how peaceful the neighbourhood is. The nearest bus...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
