I stayed here with 3 friends on a 2 day trip to London. The hotel is in a great location for a start, central to most attractions and near the tube. The rooms were really lovely, 2 double beds per twin room, extremely comfortable. 24 hour room service, we had a few drinks and sandwiches delivered up about midnight, they... More

a very welcoming hotel, the staff are very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. Our room was very comfortable but there was a problem with the heating. As it was late evening there was no engineer on site. We were given a portable desk fan which kept the room at a perfect temperature and next morning an engineer came and fixed it.... More

You would never know you were in London- the hotel is located in a very quiet street, yet only a minute from the tube and other attractions. The room we stayed in was very large with a fabulous marble bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable, and oh what a lovely touch having a turn down service and chocolate left on the... More

Was assigned a nice inner - facing quiet room which was large, but wardrobe was just a small cupboard in wall, not high enough to hang a coat - not at all sufficient for us staying 5 nights, & also caused my hubby to bump his head a number of times! Also large bathroom, but rather cold, with an old-fashioned... More

Great location, friendly staff. Quiet street near Russel Square. Modern well appointed large room (30sqm) with very comfortable beds. Large bathroom - however can be quite hazardous. Shower in bath and slippery floor tiles. Close to tube, bus and walking distance to many London attractions. We stayed for 5 nights in an executive room which gave us heaps of room... More

Nice and cosy Hotel. Small but stylish rooms. Typical English/London Hotel. Good location in nice calm quiet area IF you do not need to be in middle IF everything. Residential area close to British Museum. Breakfast is really smashing!

Stayed at this hotel for a one night business trip. Small hotel in a nice quiet location in Bloomsbury. Check in and out was quick and easy. My room was on the lower ground floor underneath reception, so essentially in the basement which felt quite claustrophobic, although there were two windows where you'd get a little light coming down from... I enjoy staying in this hotel which is housed in a nice and quiet street behind the British Museum. The room is small but nevertheless comfortable, very clean, and with details attended to. The hotel staff is hospitable. I will certainly consider this hotel again in the future.

We stayed 3 nights in this 4 star hotel right in the heart of London. Cannot fault this hotel, the reception staff were very efficient, the hotel was very clean, the staff very professional and pleasant. We had the continental breakfast booked but you could upgrade to a cooked breakfast, we didn't feel the need to upgrade as the continental... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
