I stay in London last month with my friend, just getting tired with living around China Town, Soho, London Eye etc. I book this place for a relatively lower price (£130) but still a quite convenient location with walking distance to several underground stations. But note that I mark it as a decent place but not excellent. Apparently, there must... More

Again I chose to stay here at Marlin Queen Street based on my previuos experience. This time we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with the family. Very spacious apartment, very well equipped and nicely clean. Again, the staff was very curteous and helpful. This is now my Home in London, I would recommend to anyone. Thank you!

We had a great time at Marlin Apartments Queen Street. The apartment was very comfortable, spacious and clean but the must outstanding part of all was the excellent service from all the staff and here I would like to send special thanks to Michelle, the receptionist which I met at check-in, then every day and at check-out also. Indeed, the... More

I've spent the last 18 months on a London-based project and was housed at Marlin Queen Street. I moved in between about a dozen apartments at the location during my stay and found all of them them cozy and spacious. The services and staff are great. Stayed overnight in this serviced apartment for a weekend in the city with my family, my 15 year old daughters birthday treat. Thought we would only have a one room studio apartment with a made up sofa bed for my two girls but was very pleasantly surprised to find my husband and I had a lovely separate bedroom. The accommodation... More

I booked a room for five days online assuming it was a hotel...I got an attractive price for London. To my surprise, I found we had a one bedroom apartment with a kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine...all state of the art. Everything was brand new. Fantastic location and plenty of transport links. Loads of places to eat nearby and within 5 minutes walk there is a small Waitrose and Sainsburys. After reading recent reviews before my visit I was a little worried but I shouldn't have been worried at all. The staff were so welcoming and the apartment was well equipped, a trouble free stay.... Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
