Such a lovely hotel, staff are attentive and really friendly. Breakfast to our room was so nice, and a lot to choose from, a bit expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. The room is so comfortable and view and location is perfect. A bit crap that parking isn’t included but isn’t the end of the world. Thanks for a great stay
Our wedding at the Malmaison was made so special by Leanne and Jordan on the 1st Oct 2021 it is a great hotel and the staff are great the room was fantastic and our bedroom was brilliant and very well maintained we will definitely stay again and our friends and family 👍
Stayed for four nights on a tour. The room was comfortable but gloomy - the decor was grey and black with brown lampshades - difficult to sit and read! I liked the bath, I could get out of it without a struggle. The food was fine and the staff members pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was also dark and although I could see lights they weren't all switched on. The decorative candles sat in red glass which didn't help. However it was convenient for sightseeing and we could walk to many places, but unless they brighten it up I wouldn't stay here again.
Just had the best afternoon tea that I have enjoyed in a while. The food was lovely and the service was great. The scones and clotted cream where very yummy. The surroundings were very nice and very clean
We stayed for 2 nights this week in a standard room, which was a cut above most standard hotel rooms. Very cool modern decor (if a bit dark!), comfy bed, everything you need. Great bathroom - loved the super-sized tub! The hot breakfast was good but not exceptional, the Continental option was pretty dull. Overall, a very relaxing and civilised place to stay at a reasonable price. We would certainly stay here again, even if it does feel a bit away from the action, being on Princes Dock, the cruise ship terminal. It's easy to use taxis and Merseyrail to get around and there's a lot to do in Liverpool!
