We stayed 3 nights in a ground floor 'apartment'. For an 'apartment' the room was quite small and the 'apartment' area consisted of a small kitchen worktop with a fridge - very useful - a kettle and lots of implements and cooking utensils. The problem was there was no cooker, grill or even a microwave to cook on! No wonder...

Just had a lovely couple of days at this fab hotel. The rooms, though not large, were really comfortable and clean. The beds were very comfy, though we struggled a bit with a standard double. Huge choice at breakfast and all lovely and hot. We loved the way the rooms were set out and found the hotel lovely and quiet....

Room was lovely & clean. We were on the ground floor & the noise from about 6am onwards was awful. Cleaners up and down corridors, noise from staff setting up in the restaurant, but especially the plumbing when the people above flushed their toilet which sounded like a plane taking off so not great if you want a lie in....

We were two couples on a short trip to Liverpool to see the sights. We chose the Richmond because it is well placed for visiting most of the main attractions in Liverpool on foot. We arrived at the hotel too early to check in but they did store our luggage and ‘valet park’ our car (£15.00 for 24 hours.) When...

Choose to stay at The Richmond as the pictures on the web site sold it to us. When we saw the hotel from a distance, we though is that The Richmond. Yes it was, looked very tired and run down, flags need replacing. On entering a wedding was taking place so they were given priority, we were told to come...

We stayed here on our way through Liverpool for a couple of nights, the motel itself is very nice, the rooms are well appointed and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Its set it a very bleak part of Liverpool, the street that it is situated on is cold, dark and very uninviting, but don't be put off by...

Ate here yesterday with a friend and although the atmosphere was fabulous, a piano playing in the background, the food left us both very disappointed. We ordered soup and another starter, it took an age to arrive, apologies were made. I had to request a spoon to eat my soup and butter for the bread 'cubes' that accompanied the soup....

This occasion had been bought for us by wonderful friends. This was our 1st visit to the Richmond. The food was really nice with a glass of Prosseco to start off the day. We asked for plain sandwiches and the chef happily obliged us. All together a very pleasant occasion and experience. Thank you to all the staff team and...

I stayed a while ago and decided to return with a group of friends for a stag weekend. I had spoken to Emma while I was there last time and she sorted everything out for me, who would have known organising a stag weekend would be so easy? We had a three bed apartment which came with a kitchen and...

Just home after weekend in liverpool. The Richmond hotel was central so easy access. To shops. We had breakfast in hotel. And I have to say I was disappointed. The hotel buffet wasn't. Up to scratch. Yesterday no bacon today no beans or mushroom. I upgraded to a suite and paid 25 sterling on arrival and today had to pay...
