The hotel has a great location right next to Lime Street Station and a few minutes away from city centre. Rooms are very clean and staff is really nice, especially the breakfast lady. One thing that bothered me was the noise in the room, mostly annoying at night, but I think that was a part of the whole " cruise ship"...

Excellent venue, just a couple of mins walk from train station and city centre and just over a half mile walk to the Water Front. Plenty of good shopping and any number of good pubs and bars and restaurant in close proximity. Saturday night is busy in town so would recommend booking a restaurant. We used Opentable to book at...

I found the hotel location really good. The staff were friendly but we found on first morning a mistake had been made over our booking which included breakfast, they put it right and second morning was ok but when we came to check out they were charging us separately for breakfast I mentioned the mistake and told them it was...

We very much enjoyed our stay in Liverpool on the short 4 night break and were delighted with The Liner Hotel as we travelled by train and it was so close to the station. Room, breakfast and staff were all marvellous and we would definitely return.

Lovely place to stay in! The decoration of the hotel, including the guest rooms, reminds to Liverpool as a nautical city. Situated next to the main railway station and close to the heart of Liverpool, this hotel offers more than the room rate would suggest. Spacious, well equipped rooms, a restaurant with good options on the menu, good kitchen, friendly...

Stayed just one night and chose Liner for its location and proximity to car parking. Place is clean and tidy, small rooms but fine for the odd night. Staff very friendly and helpful both at reception and in restaurant. Car parking was fine, parked easily and the staff at reception just stamped the ticket when we finished, very accommodating. Food...

I regularly attend business events at this hotel which has a nautical theme appropriate for a city which was once (and is again) the departure port for the world's great liners. Ships flags adorn the entrance and old suitcases are stacked at reception as if they belong to guests checking in. The Conference room we normally use has the look...
