We parked the car in the hotel car park but it is not obvious which direction to walk to the hotel. It turned out to be a short walk but it would be better to be able to drop bags then park. This was not possible as the hotel forecourt was coned off. The room was fine if compact but...

I had stayed in this hotel previously when it was part of a different chain. I have to say it has gone downhill in my opinion. Continental breakfast with no bread rolls or cold plates on which to put cold meat and cheese is poor service. When I enquired with staff in the breakfast area if there were bread rolls...

Were given an upgrade to a privilege room which was a lovely gesture, only problem is there was a really strong smell which seemed smokey, however couldn't work out how someone would ok smoked in the room as there were no windows. We decided to just deal with it as room was nice & we were the 11th floor &...

We were on a Majestic coach trip and stayed at the Atlantic Tower Hotel for 4 nights. Quite modern, spotless bedroom - a little snug because of the enormous bed! Could have done with a chest of drawers, as there was only a little hanging area, so had to use the suitcase to keep none-hanging things in. Otherwise very nice...

I have just had my wedding reception at the Mercure and what an occasion it was. The build up to wedding went without a hitch dedicated wedding planning staff (Leanne and Zoe) were on hand to answer any questions and to put my new wife at ease during the stressful build up. My new wife stayed at the hotel the...

I stayed here from Sat 13th May for 4 nights as part of a large group attending a Conference at the echo Arena. We were welcomed by the staff. My twin room was fine as a single guest, but would have been a bit cosy for 2. The view was good. I slept very well thanks to the comfy bed...

My husband and I had a room with a beautiful view of the Pier Head and the famous Liver Building which means that you have easy access to the Mersey Ferries. You can then visit Birkenhead where there is a good market or Wallasey where you can visit a submarine. Although the room was spacious the bathroom was extremely small....

Near (easy walking!) to Pierhead, Albert docks, Liverpool 1 shopping and restaurant area, The Beatles museum and the Cavern, lots of nightclubs, restaurants and bars, and the hotel staff are brilliant. I can't give it full marks because the menu was very sparse on the day, as the main restaurant was closed to the public. Our bedroom was good, as...

I hesitate to rate this average. We stayed at this hotel with a Trafalgar Tour group. I found this to be the smallest room of all the hotels we stayed at in Great Britain. Very hard to move with a double bed, two people and two bags. Rooms clean and functional. The big negative was the staff's ability to cater...
