Was looking forward to seeing this grand hotel . What a disappointment at £120 a night for a double room with no breakfast included was shocked at how basic everything was. No toiletries hardly and not even a biscuit on the coffee tray . The room was full of dust especially under the beds. The only plus was a comfy...

A good location near the station staff friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and clean. Our daughters had a spa bath for no extra cost which was a bonusBreakfast could be more organised a bit chaotic, but over all a good hotel for what we wanted.

This was for full use of th Gym, pool etc a massage & Afternoon tea. The the 'facilities' where disgusting, filled with crap, filth & used razors & cigarette butts. The...

Just returned from a visit to Liverpool. We decided to book this hotel on the back of the very old tv show. The place is in need of either two things. A full refurbishment or closing down. A refurbishment would cost I assume millions of pounds. The building has the echoes of the past running through its veins but its...

I stayed with a National Holidays group of friends, travelling from Hull. My room, for which I paid a single supplement was on the 5th floor (the marble ran out after the 4th floor!). It was clean and well appointed. Shabby yes, but fine. The meals were all excellent. I am sure they also cater for vegetarians if asked. I'm...

The most disgusting, dirty, filthy hotel I have ever stayed in. Exterior is fantastic but interior is a very different story. First I was given a smoking room on a very smelly 6th floor. The room was stinking of stale tobacco and was advised by the reception they have high demand for smoking rooms! I was then moved to a...

Very dated breakfast was terrible. Hotel is like something out of the shining. Was waiting for Jack Nicholson to walk down corridor. Rooms dated, bathroom not clean and was not cheap. Should of stayed in a premier inn at least they are clean and modern. Would not recommend at this price
