Very good location. Stayed in room with balcony would advise to take an upgrade room. Room curtains were extremely dusty; balcony was dirty bad stains on carpet. Hotel states it's 4 star in would say between 2 and 3.

Enjoyed an excellent Friday night stay at this hotel. The location was excellent and the staff were superb. The air conditioning was not working but we were provided with fans as an alternative for the room. We had a few drinks in our room before going out and the receptionist kindly brought up a bucket of ice to our room,...

Great bang for your buck!! I loved my room. The decor was very tasteful and stylish, and the bathroom modern (amazing shower). The large windows let in great light, yet the curtains where big and thick enough to keep the light out at night when sleeping. The bed was also very comfortable. The lobby was small and average looking, so...

Arrived on a side street with little evidence of an entrance, could not park to unload our luggage and receptionist was busy, so had to move on as a queue of traffic had developed. Drove round block and this time found a space opposite the so called entrance. Reception was poor and small with little effort to impress visitors. Receptionist...

Dear Michael W I am sorry to hear that Heywood House Hotel's unique characteristics and boutique style rooms were not what you were looking for and agree that our product is very different to what you would experience at a large commercial brand such as Radisson Blu. As part of a converted bank which was built in 1799 Heywood House...

This was mine and my boyfriends first visit to the hotel but would certainly return! Our room was lovely and clean and very spacious. The location of the hotel is also great and was within walking distance of everything we needed, including many shops (right by Liverpool One), bars and restaurants, so we saved money on taxis. Had a slight...

Fabulous location, friendly helpful staff, lovely rooms. But.. The 2 nights we stayed (6-8 sept) the heat was oppressive. Checked in and got to our room which was lovely, tried to get the air con on but it didn't appear to work, rang reception and the lady brought up 2 fans...a nice gesture but they were just circulating warm air. We...

Dear Kels0787 Thank you for taking the time to write the above review. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused by the problems we are encountering with the air conditioning. This is a nice hotel in a good location for the city center with a helpful staff. But, the air conditioning is inoperable. This apparently is a situation of fairly long-standing, not a temporary or recent development. While Liverpool isn't always the warmest place, when the temperature is in the high 70s and sunny like it was this week when...

My girlfriend and I stayed here overnight whilst visiting friends in Liverpool. The hotel had character, offering clean, tidy, spacious rooms with the facilities one should expect. Both of us found the bed comfy, and were impressed by the high ceilings. Most things within the city centre seemed to be within a 20 minute walk. The hotel offers no parking...
