Curiously named cosy old pub with a couple of double rooms for B & B - friendly helpful staff from the moment we arrived. Comfortable clean rooms and spacious ensuite facilities. In room tea/coffee making with generous amounts of milk etc. T.V. , WiFi in rooms. Choice of cooked breakfasts plus juices, cereals, tea and coffee. Delicious. Handy for the...

I had a lovely big downstairs bedroom with a tiny but adequate en-suite. Didn't hear any noise from the pub but they have live music nights so those might be . The bed was really comfy (might be too soft for some) with old fashioned but nice furniture. Nice tv with free sat. Bathroom was a bit tired (hence only...

Lovely room situated in a little adjoining house to the pub accessible through the beer garden and little side alley. There's no central heating but they have a number of heaters they have ready toasty for your arrival. Breakfast was good, although a little informal about organising it because there's only two rooms, had to post my keys through the...

Have only read good reviews for this hotel so was unexpectedly very disappointed with our stay. The shower and bathroom was mouldy and towels stained! Very noisy as door entrance and bathroom are literally in the beer garden. Also experienced a person sat on our car bonnet in the early hours and weeing outside our bedroom window! Not a pleasant...

We are very sorry to hear you experienced an unpleasant stay, I was informed by my staff that you had expressed your complaint about the shower at breakfast, and rang you that evening to apologise and discuss. As we discussed the shower room is about to be renovated but we are a pub with 2 rooms and not a hotel...

Lincoln is expensive booked this last minute for 3 day business trip. Only 2 rooms but they are great and breakfast is superb. Exceptional value. Parking permit is provided for outside which I always managed to get in. 5-10 minute walk to central lincoln

We did an over night stay at this charming typical pub, enough to York. Only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Lincoln and the riverside. The pub has only two well furnished and comfortable rooms with en suite, so the feel is of a nice intimate and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was...

Second visit to the queen in the west. Comfortable bed and everything you need for a trip to Lincoln. About a ten minute walk to city centre. Lovely hosts (they can't do enough for you) and the breakfast was amazing.

I stayed for one night for my graduation this September. It was fantastic for the price, comfortable beds away from the main pub so was very quiet, the breakfast was perfection. would highly recommend for 1 or 2 night stays. they only have 2 rooms though so make sure you book early.

Basically a pub with accommodation. Very friendly welcome. My room's equipment was simple and the bathroom in need of repair here and there. A little explanation on how to activate the water heater for the shower would not be too much luxury for non-UK guests. Took me 10 minutes to figure it out. The bed had a little slope to...
