Location of Cathedral View is excellent for Castle, Cathedral and many restaurants. Depending on the restaurant you go to, you might have a steep walk back up Steep Hill but its worth it! B & B is very comfortable - room 10 at the front of the annexe is super - plenty of room, couple of armchairs by the window...

Located in the Eastgate quarter of Lincoln, this B & B is brilliantly located for the castle, cathedral, shops, bars and restaurants at the top of the hill. The B & B is very old, with some parts dating back 800 years, so quite quirky in parts. Hosts are lovely, couldn't do enough for you, including offering to back my...

Stayed in the recently refurbished annexe across the courtyard from the main house. Room was stunning - beautifully decorated and furnished, comfy bed and a cosy feel to it. (The bathroom was pretty impressive too!!) Plenty of choice for breakfast .... and nothing was too much trouble for the owners. Overall...comfy,cosy,classy and friendly.... can't wait to find an excuse to...

Had a great time at cathedral view guesthouse (room had actual view of cathedral). Paul is a great host and can make a nice poacher cheese omelet. Clean rooms and bathroom, wouldn't mind an extra chair in the room.

We stayed for 3 nights in this wonderful guesthouse right around the corner from the castle and cathedral. We stayed in room 8 in the annex and the room was lovely. Paul and his staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and breakfast was really, really good! Off street parking just off the Main Street was great and the location is...

We stayed in the recently refurbished annex to the guest house. It was very nicely decorated with a lovely bathroom. The parking was a little on the tight size for my dodgy parking skills, but managed to get in and out ok. You won't need your alarm clock as the cathedral bells will let you know the time.

“Room 10 is at the front but the road was not noisy.”

“We stayed in Room 4, which is at the front of the building, looking onto another hotel and the Cathedral. The windows are the traditional mullion windows so did not shut properly (the room was warm though), so it was quite noisy from the road. The hotel opposite has an early delivery so it woke us up. Next time I would ask for a room at the back of the building. ”
