Stayed here for 3 nights in April 2017. On day 2 I went down with Man-flu, and they were very accommodating and gave my wife breakfast in bed for myself. They also left out place setting for our fish and chip take-away one evening. Mike and his team were very helpful with very good local knowledge of the area. Good...

We stayed in the family suite with lovely big rooms and stylish bathroom. Tastefully decorated. Double room was at the front but not bothered by the main road at all. Excellent host, very friendly and helpful. Great communication before our stay. Guesthouse is perfectly placed and just outside the bail gate so quite central. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby....

Had wanted to visit Lincoln for some time and spotted the Newport whilst looking on line. What a great find - and excellent value. We had rooms at the front, lots of space, 1 X Double and 2 X Twin in separate rooms with shower-room in between, well presented and nice and clean. Flat screen TV and tea or coffee...

Although we arrived early, we were made very welcome on our arrival. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Television, tea and coffee tray. Shower over bath. Our room looked out onto a quiet back street. We never heard any traffic at all. Breakfast room is very homely and modern. Staff make you feel at home. Nothing is too much...

Found this guesthouse on Groupon. It's a great little guesthouse, great position, 5 mins walk to Bailgate where there quaint shops are. We usually stay at the Halliday Inn down on the waterfront, but wanted to stay up at the old town. The room was lovely, double and single bed with ensuite shower. Breakfast was lovely too, full English breakfast,...

Myself and my partner decided to have a night in Lincoln as we'd never been. Before we arrived, Newport Guest house emailed me a "Things to do in Lincoln" web address which I thought was a nice touch. On arrival, we were warmly greeted and informed of breakfast times etc. Our room was stunning! Beautifully decorated and lovely and warm....
