Very pleasant room which was clean and fresh. Breakfast was very good. Located just a few minutes walk from the Cathedral and Castle. Parking could be a bit of a problem but as weren't using the car during our stay we were able to park it 100yards up the road and leave it for the duration. Our room was at... More

If you are visiting Lincoln and are seeking a warm and well maintained room, in walking distance from everything, plus a quality very clean and grease-less cooked breakfast then get this place if you can. Thanks Mike, Jeanette and all the staff.

Thank you for your kind review, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and our beautiful city (we agree Steep Hill can be very difficult!). To ensure we can keep our costs as low as possible, the miniature toiletries in the room are replaced each stay and not daily, however there is always a large shower gel, hand... More

Just home from a 3 night break which we enjoyed very much! As stated the guest house is in a marvellous position for exploring the old part of town. We were in Room 9 on the top floor. Warm, clean, cosy and a very comfortable bed. Ample supplies of tea, coffe, biscuits etc; which was very welcome especially in pretty cold weather. The road... More

Thank you for your kind review, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We appreciate all feedback we receive from our guests as this allows us to improve. We have since installed a new hinge on the front door which allows for a steadier close as this cannot be forced shut quickly now. We are unable to offer... More

Very convenient for tourists: through the Roman Arch and on to the cathedral & castle. The room was just a little on the small side, but it - and all the parts we saw, were recently, and well decorated. A friendly welcome, and excellent breakfasts. They warn that parking is limited, but they did reserve their disabled space for us.... More

We stayed here for 1 night and I was so impressed. The room was clean and tidy, and I loved the fact there were mugs with the tea and coffee. Breakfast was amazing and the staff couldn't be more helpful. My daughter was especially impressed when the owner came out of the kitchen and offered more breakfast items that were... More

We had 1 night. The rooms were spotless and everything great. Very central to the upper town and 5mins to the cathedral. Jeanette and team were really nice. Not only was our little dig Rufus welcome the girls even brought him a plate of biscuits for breakfast.

Stayed for 3 nights and were very happy with our choice. Very close to the centre of Lincoln so we found an unrestricted parking space in a nearby road, thanks to the parking guide in the room, and were able to walk everywhere. Bed very comfortable and a lovely en suite. Staff were all very helpful. Breakfast was very nice each... More

We stopped as a family in on if the suites. It was lovely with great facilities. A spacious shower with decent pressure and fabulous comfy beds. We all slept well. In the morning we had breakfast which was locally sourced products. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We couldn't complain about a thing. Will definitely stop here again.

Found this guesthouse by chance search. What a find. Excellent positioning, excellent accommodation and breakfast. Definitely worth a stay as good value for money. Within walking distance of Cathedral and Castle. From there down the Steep Hill and you're in the shopping centre.
