Stayed here for one night with a couple of my friends. The location is 10 min walk to the city center, which is good. The exterior was shabby - the flags were ripped and it was clear that the building has not been cleaned for probably two decades. We asked for a family room. The toilet was quite big, but...

We stayed here whilst working locally. Whilst there were some teething problems for the new owners the staff were very friendly and did their utmost to make everything better and the breakfast was great value. Thank you for your efforts in making our stay enjoyable.

I wasnt sure about this place before we arrived because there had been some poor tripadvisor reviews. However, we got a warm welcome from Reception, the room was clean and comfortable and spacious for three of our family. Breakfast was reasonable for the price too with good choices. I would recommend for a cheap stay near the centre of town.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Probably the worst hotel I have ever visited, let alone stayed in. Broken radiator controls meant everywhere was excessively hot. Rooms dirty, fittings broken. Breakfast cold - twice - I sent the first one back. The towels were nice - that's the only positive comment I can think of.

Dirty room, cobwebs and smelly bed. Noisy fan on all night, paper thin walls, creaking floorboards, and terrible wifi. No idea how they're allowed to trade. I left early and only got a fraction of my money back. DO NOT STAY HERE.

This is the filthiest hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay at. The Base of the bed looked stained with blood and urine. I don't know how they are allowed to trade. The hotel is used for homeless people. It smells quite bad, from food to dirt. Feel sorry for the homeless who have to stay at this...
