The Premier Inn is great. Good location, taxi around £10 to centre. Very clean, spacious modern rooms. Great price, better to stay here and pay for taxi in than prices for Premier Inn Central. Only niggle when checked in and opened toilet bowl water was browny yellow. We flushed it away without complaint but flush wasn't great on the loo....

I stayed here to attend a family funeral, and found that the hotel was well kept, the staff wonderful (thank you both, Laura and Tom!). They were friendly, interested in us and made us all feel very welcome. The room I was in was furnished to a very high standard and absolutely spotless. In fact, I've stayed in rooms at...

I stayed here for a job interview in February and had an excellent stay. The room was cavernous, spotlessly clean and freshly refurbished with a great bathroom. Best of all was the staff, who were extremely friendly and really went the extra mile - going so far as to leave a good luck note and a box of Matchmakers the...

Stay and staff were all excellent. Only marking down due to the poot quality of the breakfast. It was cold and undercooked. The continental side was lovely. Costa coffee is not included at this premier inn.

The room and hotel service were great but the food at the restaurant next door was of very poor quality. Other restaurants are available nearby but you need a car. I would stay again but would definitely travel out to eat.

Clean & cosy room to stay with children. We liked especially room being non-smoking. How-ever, the pub/restaurant wasn't clean enough and not many choices were available for both dinner and breakfast.

Overall good quite place to stay.plenty of parking. Good beds. Need to avoid peak season as noise levels high. Try and book rooms top level rather then ground floor that way you will get away from the noise and hustle busle of people moving around. Tom great guy in charge at reception will do what he can to assist.

Stayed at the Premier Inn in Groby Road. Reception were most welcoming. Room was a standard Premier Inn room, though the bathroom had seen better days and, especially with chipped metal bath and very naff blue grouting However as being old you can hear the TV next door and when they flush the toilet The adjoining pub looks OK, and...

comfortable hotel, but 2 miles from city centre. It took me 40 mins to walk in. No buses after 10.30, so for return in the small hours, either a walk or a taxi will be needed. The car park is pay and display, but Premier Inn give you a voucher to display FOC.
