On arrival a lovely lady greeted us and gave directions to where the venue we were attending was and offered to call us a cab. A great start, but sadly that's where it also ends. The lift that had that sickly sweet vomit smell, and needless to say we never entered it again. Our room was basic, décor and cleanliness...

The only nice thing in this place were the reception staff who were clearly embarrassed at the condition of the rooms. We stayed 20 minutes and got a refund and went to the IBIS, take my advice......do not go until they have refurbished the rooms. Mouldy bathrooms, smelly rooms, dust and dirt everywhere. ...awful just awful.

Stayed for new years eve as it was one of the cheaper options. Location is close to the city centre and the is free parking which are positives. The room itself was small and drab, the bed had a huge dip in the middle so I woke up with a bad back and despite asking for a rear room it...

First impression was dirty lift, taking luggage to our room. Hallways and lobbies very tired and in need of some TLC, rooms very basic, bathroom also grubby, no toiletries, basic soap. Rough grey towels, rather than fluffy white. Staff in the bar area, pleasant and attentive, although after ordering 2 x gin & tonic, they ran out of tonic!

The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and the room was a good size. It was perfect for what we needed - a late one night stay. Taxi's were easily available and we were around 10 minutes drive from the centre. On site parking was free which was a bonus.

We had a one night stay here as we didn't want to drive home after a visit to a local music pub, The Musician, and this appeared to be the closest hotel to the venue. Would we stay again? Definitely not! Admitably this was a cheap hotel, but even at the price we paid I feel it was over priced....

Looks ok from the outside and reception / bar is very European. Goes downhill from there but you get what you pay for. No frills rooms that are functional rather than luxurious but no worse than other value brands. Our room had a bit of a whiff of bodies (not dead ones) but I'm not fussy....especially after 10 + pints...

We arrived and the check in was smooth and quick, entered the room and everything was clean and well kept. For the price we couldn't not complain about what the hotel has to offer, a quiet good sleep. The bed was good, I'd recommend this hotel for a short stay...

Just right. Tea making facilities in room, clean and tidy, bed really comfortable. Free parking. Polite staff. Near to town and 20 minute walk to the university. I didn't have breakfast, but if I did want it last minute, I could have.

This is a modern business hotel set in not the best location in Leicester but for me it was clean and efficient with very helpful friendly staff. For me the real surprise was the quality of the food which, although quite basic, it was well cooked and for the money was simply excellent, something I suppose you would expect from...
