While Leicester is not the most exciting city in the world, if you are visiting there this is a very good place to stay. I don't believe a 5/5 rating should be reserved for 5 star hotels; it should also be for those hotels which are excellent in their niche, and this is one such hotel. Just round the corner...

I arrived on the hottest day of the year and found I had made a mistake with my booking and booked for the next day instead. Very fortunately they were able to accommodate me and I was able to have the last room in the hotel. I was really grateful. The rooms are as you would expect for this class...

This Ibis is within easy walking distance of Leicester train station and the city centre, so handy location. The room overlooked the railway but I didn't hear any noise; the double glazing must be good! Everything was clean, plenty of tea/coffee, comfy bed and a fair bit of space in the room. Strangely there was no option to book breakfast,...

This hotel is quite pricey for a budget hotel but it is not worth the money. Food in the hotel is limited in choice, poor quality and expensive. Breakfast 'buffet' is poor for an additional £8.50 per person. I was booked into a disabled room - I am not disabled - wet room for bathroom with paraphenalia for wheelchair user....

We were there before the football game Leicester vs Southampton. Nice hotel. But the best is the bed. In all Ibis hotels the bed is the best thing there. The room is always clean. Always tea and coffee available.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of my room. I stayed for 3 nights and every day I returned, the room was spotless and everything had been replenished. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes from the city centre. Friday morning (5.30am to be...

Clean, friendly, excellent, good value for money. Very close to city centre and railway station. Computer availability in the reception area and blow dryer in the rooms. Away from the huzzle and buzzle of the restaurants and bars, but some noise from the traffic outside.

My partner came for a one night business trip and was very disappointed in the hotel. The check in was quick but the room was very basic although couldn't fault the cleanliness. The hotel is not situated in a great place, it's in the middle of one of the busiest roads in Leicester and was woken early by the cars....

I'm sorry for the 2 star rating, I really wanted to like this hotel, but my first thought was 'if the standard Ibis is like this, what the Hell is the budget one like - a cardboard box?!' I stayed for 2 nights. To check in you go to the reception which is an extension to the bar. So the...
