This hotel is ideal if you are a family or a couple, because that is what they cater for. Single sex parties are not, so you can be assured a quiet night in comfortable surroundings. We were allocated Room 2, which was on the front of the property and very comfortable. My wife and I had two double beds, so...

After being totally honest about being a crossdresser when I arrived I was allowed to register and pay for a room. I had unpacked, showered and was in the middle of shaving, when the landlady knocked on the door.I was then told that I was not welcome and it was better if I left.If there had been a problem I...

[Quote} that "people like us" party all night and make loads of noise which would disturb other guests. [Unquote]. These are words from the venue management to some guests (and on line friends of mine) checking in for the weekend upon finding out that they were transgendered. How dare they lump everyone in the same in this day and age...

We stayed at the Sunnydale hotel for a weekend whilst visiting family. Upon arrival we were greeted with a very warm and genuine welcome, fantastic hospitality that was kept up throughout our stay. Rooms are comfortable and have everything you may need, toiletries, hairdryer and tea/coffee. Very family friendly. Location is close enough to attractions, but far away enough to...

Stayed here for two nights at the beginning of January to attend a dancing competition at the Winter Gardens, though we could not check in until quite late the owners were very welcoming. Our room was clean, comfortable, warm and with good wi fi connection. The en suite was small but ok. The bar well stocked, and very reasonable prices...

Fantastic week at the Sunnyvale Hotel, close to the sea with lovely walks to all attractions, excellent local travel by tram or bus. Clean and comfortable rooms, excellent food, happy atmosphere and reasonably priced, run by 2 of the nicest people, Lyn and Brian. Can't wait to go back!

If you want to feel as if your are visiting relatives then this hotel is perfect for you. You will feel like part of the family from how they greet you at the door to breakfast. The room was clean. First hotel ever we stayed in that had only double beds and not one queen or king bed. The shower...

Thank you for your comments. It was lovely to meet you both on your travels in the UK. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us despite the small shower and the lack of king/queen sized beds.

A family group of 9 of us arrived at Sunnydale and we were warmly welcomed by Brian. The kids were treated fantastic. The rooms were normal standard for Blackpool, clean, heaters in the room if needed, bathroom adequate, the towels were replenished daily, beds made, bins emptied. Nothing was too much trouble for Brian and Lyn. The full English breakfast...

We have just returned from our stay at Sunnydale Hotel. This was our second stay with Brian and Lyn and it certainly won't be our last. The hotel is clean, tidy, the bedroom had plenty of room for my husband, myself and our 7 year old granddaughter. Plenty of hot water for showers. The breakfast is very good. Brian and...
