I stayed with my husband and toddler for 4 nights mid September. Upon arrival we were very pleased that we managed to secure one of the four parking spaces at the front of the hotel. Check-in was not great, we arrived at the tiny reception area to find a young girl standing nervously smiling and nodding clearly struggling to deal...

Thank you for your review, as you quite rightly state it is not all doom and gloom although the first two paragraphs would rival the opening to an Arthur Miller work of fiction. The hotel cannot be held responsible for the “irrational behaviour” of a fellow guest, especially if he is partially deaf and our receptionist was not trained in...

The family stayed at The Strand as the hotel was also hosting my 40th birthday party. I can't thank the staff enough for all their help in planning and implementing the 1970s theme. The buffet was excellent with a number of my friends commenting on how good it was. Bedrooms were modern, clean and comfortable and the staff were very...

As always, the staff at the Strand excel themselves. My parents asked me to write as they had such a lovely time. Superb food, excellent staff and a brilliant room - they wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Blackpool now! Highly recommended.

We booked the Strand Hotel, because we had a great time there last year. This year, we booked a twin room for my brother and his friend, and I decided to spend a little extra on an Executive Room for myself and my husband. I was unhappy to find that our Executive Room was double booked and we had to...

I stayed at the Strand last weekend with my friend and our daughters. It was great value for money. The rooms were clean with plenty of room. I have stayed in a few Hotels in Blackpool and there were awful. So I am glad to find one that was better than I expected. Brilliant food. Really friendly receptionist and bar...

Very clean and modern, nothing was too much trouble for the very hard working staff. Met some great people Frank the very hardworking barman, Marta and Micheal the waiting staff, and Johnny Walker the fantastic entertainer....

Just returned from a stay at The Strand Hotel and from start to finish the staff, service, food and rooms were all first class. We had 20 family members staying to celebrate my parents anniversary and we couldn't be any happier with how the weekend panned out. The hotel accommodated to the needs of each family with their selection of...
