First time expierience at hacketts and have got to say the staff were a delight. The food was excellent especially the cod. The young girls in the restaurant work very hard especially the waitress with blonde and dark hair who served us. We will be returning and recomend this hotel to everyone!

Food terrible. Bar staff arrogant. Hotel dated. More like a retirement home. One male barman in particular needs to improve his people skills an learn to stop being rude and arrogant! Would not stay here again or recommend it!

Saturday a band who was more cabaret, certainly not rock & roll, how can this be justified as a themed w/e,so we would not have booked. The restaurant service was extremely poor, the girls were hardworking but understaffed with no organisation since the...

Stayed at this hotel 21/5/13 - 23/5/13. Communal areas quite good - in the process of painting. Our party of four had poor rooms- cracked wash basins, torn lino in the shower room, broken handles on wardrobe etc etc, and not even clean enough for basic accommodation. Food was average and mold on the bread rolls - waitress took them...
