We stayed for a 3 night weekend and having already read the great reviews on here we were hoping that we had chosen well. The Hotel is in a great location, having travelled up by train we were less than 5 minutes across the road to check in. Due to a mistake on our behalf we booked a twin instead...

I had the pleasure of staying at the Big Blue again last night, and this time they upgraded me free of charge to a Deluxe room on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the Pleasure Beach. As I walked into room 439 the “wow” factor really hit me. A lot of hotels, even the modish and upper-class ones end...

Arrived and booked into hotel and upgraded to deluxe room. appreciated that! Great view of the park. Got tickets early on the Tuesday morning and lots of staff on at reception desk so very quick and painless. Reception staff were outstanding - very friendly. Printed off a voucher for me! Bit of confusion over whether bar meals were on when...

All round excellent stay. Staff very efficient, friendly and can't do enough to please. Excellent room, excellent breakfast, lovely and clean. Huge car park (a real bonus). One minor issue with the bathroom mentioned on way out for the evening and was sorted by the time we returned, Can't ask better than that. Didn't manage to get wi-fi working but...

We purchased the stay with pleasure beach tickets. We were able to collect our wristbands first thing and park in the car park free of charge whilst in the pleasure beach!! We received a free room upgrade which we were thrilled with. The hotel is spotlessly clean thoughtout. We enjoyed a very tasty evening meal and the breakfast was yummy...

Just got back from a 2 nights stay in the Big Blue. Rooms are excellent, spacious, clean and very comfortable. With the wrist bands for the pleasure beach included in the price it was excellent value. Most of the staff were very pleasant(2 not so) but over all a very good hotel that's close to the pleasure beach. We had a meal...

This hotel is brilliant, modern clean with friendly staff. The room was just what we imagined, overlooking the pleasure beach, with patio doors which opened, gave a stunning view of the park especially at night when lit up. The room had a tv, dvd player and even an impressive fire. Food in the restaurant was A1, brilliant value for money.

We stayed here for one night in a family room. Well equipped room, large bathroom, separate bedroom area for kids with tvs. Bed was horrendous, it was like sleeping directly on the divan! Woken up early by noisy neighbours who let their kids run around at 7.00 in the morning, long wait for breakfast although this was forewarned. Breakfast was...
