The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I didn't like that the swimming pools changing room only had one little private section and even that was just a circle. The shower in the pool was good except for, again, there was only a curtain and not a lockable door. The WIFI worked fine. I would recommend you go... More

Just stayed at the Imperial Hotel and had a wonderful time. This hotel is full of charm and character. The staff were all lovely and welcoming. Our room (202) was a very comfortable and it made a great deal of difference that it was spacious and had two arms chairs in it. Unfortunately I arrived and came down with a... More

My stay at this hotel was just for one night and so I could not base my views on a comprehensive experience. It is an impressive traditional building that has indications of prior grandeur. There were aspects that justified a 4star rating, such as reception staff professionalism, efficiency and friendliness. I did not use the restaurant, but a snack of... More

The bedroom was large and spacious with a lovely view of the sea. The bed was also very large and extremely comfortable. On my way to and from breakfast, every single member of staff greeted me with a good morning. That was very pleasing.

A mx up in my booking caused by the reservations department resulted in us having to accept a lesser room than we had booked but the operations manager sorted it and gave me a discounted rate so all is forgiven. The hotel is nice and clean with friendly staff. The breakfast room hostess on Saturday was brilliant and deserves a... More

Having walked past this hotel many times as a child, my partner and I decided to spend a couple of nights here. The hotel is very impressive to look at and at night with all the lights shining, it really does look like a lovely building. For the high price we paid (it was half term) the dated room was... We were given a lovely sea view room so this was a lovely surprise! Yes rooms are a little tired but also such a grand old building! Breakfast was excellent, went for a dip in the indoor pool with the spa what can I say just fabulous! We would defiantly go back, staff are lovely and will do anything to... More

Stayed overnight in a double room. The public areas were beautiful but a tad dated however the room was cold, not well lit, had old electric heaters. I didn't really have a view but that wasn't an issue. I would preferred a warm, well lit room. There was a hair on the spoon of my complementary coffee set :-( so... More

Can not fault this hotel, 5 adults 2 children. 3 rooms booked 1 out of the 3 rooms was little and outdated but we complained and the staff was more than helpful, they upgraded 2 of our rooms to the Windsor suite which was fantastic then for the 3rd room we had the big room next door. Breakfast was lovely... More

Thanks Emma for such a lovely review, I'm delighted you were able to enjoy one of our suites during your visit and that the family were all together. I'm just back off holiday so it's unlikely we met on this occasion, but I very much look forward to your next visit. Best wishes, Alison More
