This is the third visit to the Imperial and apart from maybe some areas need redecoration, each stay has been excellent; did upgrade to a suite this time and found it to be first-class; food and service excellent very helpful and polite staff, and will certainly be back.

Our welcome to this lovely hotel was warm and sincere by Stephanie. Thank you. Our room was a fine size, and the beds really comfy. The room was clean though the colour schem a bit dull. Some upgrading of the shower is needed, as regulating it was impossible. Rust around the bath 😕 As we were there for 1 night,...

We stayed here for three nights in a standard room. The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was the best I've had in Blackpool. We enjoyed truly fresh fruit and an excellent hot breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage and beans. The price was very reasonable. I believe this hotel deserves its 4 stars for its service and food...

Travelling from Scotland down to Kent, we decided to break the journey up and stay in a hotel. We thought Blackpool would be perfect and that we could make a bit of a night of it. It popped up on Groupon that the Imperial hotel had a spa and that there was a deal for two treatments for £49 this...

I stayed at this hotel in January with my wife. On arrival, we were greeted by a friendly member of staff and promptly booked in, the hotel room was very clean the facilities were second to none. We had a quiet drink in the bar and the atmosphere was great, the drinks were reasonably priced and again, the bar staff...

We have just returned from a weekend at this hotel. I found this hotel to be a bit of a mixed bag. The common areas are beautifully decorated and the staff are polite, however the standard room we were in was very small, and very warm. In fact the bathroom was so small that my partner found it uncomfortable and...

Had 2 rooms booked here tonight, unfortunately had to cancel with 48 hours notice due to have a car accident and car being written off. Spoke to the manager to be told they won't refund any money, not even under these unfortunate circumstances. Extremely poor service and strongly recommend to avoid

Dear Griffithskyle, Gosh Kyle, I'm so sorry to read of the stance we took in this situation. We do accept that things happen from time to time and although the advance purchase rate is "Non refundable and non transferrable", there are exceptions and we do usually offer an alternative date. I'll take the liberty of following this up and will...

Dear Sharon, Thanks so much for posting your review on Tripadvisor. I'm so sorry to read that your room did not meet your expectations. I don't know if you noticed but the Hotel Collection has recently invested in the hotel, upgrading the restaurant, bar, lounge area and some parts of the health club. We've also done the first 6 sample...

Visited recently for a few nights. Room was small and furniture was in need of upgrading. It was clean and perfectly acceptable for an aged hotel but we were aware of this as we have stayed here before. The leisure centre is quaint with segregated Sauna facilities.Never seen that before ! Don't bother paying for a cooked breakfast as the...

Dear Roadstar54, thanks so much for taking the time to review your recent stay. I'm pleased you enjoyed the hotel facilities, but very surprised to read that you didn't enjoy breakfast. This is usually a real highlight for us at the Imperial and I'm sorry we didn't get it quite right for you. I do hope you'll try us out...
