In over 45 years of travelling I have never seen such a run down, shabby hotel. The room was an adequate size and the bed linen clean, but the furniture mismatched, battered, ill fitting. Cigarette burns in the curtains, the upholstery pulled away from the chair. I itched to clean the bathroom and re-grout the tiles. When I shut the...

I stayed at the 'Norbreck Castle Hote' (Yes, the L was missing off the sign) for a convention in early May 2017 for 4 nights. Having prior experience of Blackpool Hotels, I went there with extremely low expectations and they were admirably fulfilled. Highlights include: The hotel decor is shabby, dirty and was probably fashionable at some point in 1973....

The title says it all. I can hardly believe that places like this exist. There was a long queue at checkout...to complain. The room was booked as part of a conference package. I'm guessing the organisers of the conference won't repeat the horror. I felt sorry for the staff. What a thankless, joyless place to work.

Hotel like something from 1970's. Curtains in room frayed, windows filthy, bed frame 2 different sizes, towels frayed, carpet filthy and thats just a start. Thankfully the bed was clean. If i had paid more then £29 to stay then i plain and simply would of been asking for a refund and walking out! Staff walking round hotel with KFC...

I never stayed in this hotel, but I was there for a rogue events convention when we decided to get lunch here. My partner and I purchased baguettes, which they had a choice of 6 different fillings. I decided to have chicken & bacon, I started to eat it and I could taste, the egg mayo and found red pepper...

Don't waste your money this hotel have appalling standards.i had room 104 it's supposed to be a double? It is a very small single with the smallest double bed I've seen wedged between the door and wall.it only had access via one side it is totally unacceptable to have a bed when you're expected to climb over each other to...

A bit far to walk to the tower but tram stop outside. For the money it wasn't bad,£27 per night surprisingly the food was very good, we had the 3 course evening meal £13.50 each. Overall the place needs some money spent on it to up grade it, but with so much competition ie the many places to stay, is...

This hotel has the potential to be excellent however it's not.. It's dirty smelly and needs a lot of tidying up.. I had a 3 bed room with two towels one working light bulb and no remote for the tv.. The coffee in the room was basically coloured water although the shower was nice... Breakfast was horrible with Hitler big...

Large hotel family entertainment, swimming pool, small cinema. Breakfast is all you can eat for a fare price.rooms are basic that's why I have given it an average score, but you certainly get your money's worth from the facilities it offer's. If your taking children its worth it and they will love it.we have stayed a few times with our grandchildren and...

Where do I start?? I stayed here for two nights and that was too much for me. First entering the hotel you are greeted by dark dated décor and not so happy staff. This didn't bother me that much as it was a lads weekend away. The rooms were so cold and damp and dirty. Looks like they haven't cleaned...
