Stayed here for one night in a 6 person family room. Room had 3 double beds one being in a seperate room. Room was massive, warm and comfortable. Was clean enough just dated. The hotel did show signs of damp but it is an old building. It has alot of original fratures which gave a lot of character. Parking was...

We booked the hotel to join friends at a charity ball. As it was friends we did;t check the feedback beforehand - lesson learnt! I understand the hotel is "tired" and that's fine, but this place is dirty. From the minute we walked in, the driveways, the steps to the door, the glass, everything was extremely dirty, not just in...

Stayed at the Savoy on a social function, wish I hadn't. The Function itself was first class in a lovely ballroom, food of a decent quality and the bar prices spot on (2.70p per pint & a bottle of merlot £8.20), although they had no large wine glasses behind the bar and had to go and find one. Overheard a...

On arrival the downstairs ie: Reception and bsr area looked nice and in general the hotel was warm and welcoming. Check in was quick and no problems. On entry to the room, we noticed various things in which we weren't happy with. We checked the bed sheet, which had clots of hair on, the bed lining had a stain on....

Stayed over one night and at £25 for a double room it was excellent value. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. I did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on this issue.

We stayed here on a Nicky James Country Music event. Very good entertainment is what you expect of Nicky James and he didn't disappoint. Food was very good and we even dropped on a Christmas menu which was great. Although it was winter we still found plenty to do.

Lovely day. Nice hotel. Staff were very nice. Food was good. Didn't stay over night but family were happy with their stay. Only issue is that the bar in the lounge is alot cheaper than the other bars.

The hotel is nothing special, not by any means but it's what you need for a weekend break. The décor was somewhat dated in style but for the price you'd be a fool to expect any modern themes. That said it wasn't bad and it was certainly clean and well kept. The staff were helpful as the one of two...
