On arrival I was told I couldn't check in until after 4PM, a bit late however as we had travelled all day on train from Scotland and John at Reception offered to hold on to our luggage so we could go out, we decided to have a walk around town and check out the shops. I travelled down with a...

we arrived on Friday afternoon on the 2nd of December and were denied check in until 4pm although the rooms had been cleaned. On arrival we noticed that the hotel lobby was clean and hoped this continued to the room. The hotel itself is like faulty towers turns and stairs everywhere. We didn't even get shown to the room. arrived...

I stayed at the New Oceans Hotel last weekend with my daughter and have to say that it was fantastic. Right on the promenade overlooking the sea and a few minutes walk from the South Pier. The moment we arrived after being stuck in traffic on the M6 we were welcomed by lovely staff. Check in was smooth, car was...

Just returned from an enjoyable weekend at The New Oceans Hotel. I was dreading it once I'd read the reviews but I can honestly say that it is no-where near as bad as suggested and for the price it's an absolute bargain. On arrival the staff on reception were friendly and our room was more than adequate. Yes it's not...

So i read all these reviews and really didnt want to go to this hotel. When we arrived we was served by the tall guy in glasses that many people have wrote bad reviews on, but i can hand on heart say himself, a lady with long red hair and small gentleman with red hair, where polite and very helpful....

Rooms were filthy. Light switches hanging off the wall. Plastic bag over the smoke alarm. Holes in the wall. A bed that is older than both myself and my partner. If I kept going I'd be here a long time. Comes to something when the hallway is cleaner than the room. Such a shame as with a bit of work...

We stayed here for one night (thank god it wasn't any longer,I don't think I could have coped!!!) we went to reception on arrival to be met by 2 men who looked like had just come in off the street. First we were told there was a charge for the carpark which I didn't see on the website when I...

I don't even know where to start, my whole family came down to Blackpool for the Halloween weekend but what we arrived to was a bit different to what we expected. The ceiling was sagging under the weight of the water pouring through and the carpet in the hallway soaked through , the solution - they put a bucket underneath...

If I had to list everything that was wrong with this hotel I would be here all evening. All I would say is please think twice before wasting your money staying here. The only thing worse then spending a night at this hotel would be spending a night on the pavement outside it. If we could have stayed somewhere else...
