Had a two night weekend break at The Laurels in mid August. This Guest House is in a very good location as the town and beach is in easy walking distance. The Pleasure Beach is slightly further away, about a 15 minute walk. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable; it was fantastic value for money. Colin and Sue (...

Thank you both very much for the time taken to post a review. The main reason for your visit was to attend the Division 2 match at Bloomfield road and on a wet and windy afternoon you set off to enjoy the match which ended scoreless and by all accounts was a disappointing performance by both sides. You will have...

A warm " HELLO " and to say a big Thank You for the much appreciated review. After a very long and exhausting journey you arrived safe and well albeit quite late into the night. Refreshed next day you both made the most of your short time in the resort and seemed to enjoy all that Blackpool had to offer....

Stayed here for a weekend in June as my husband was celebrating his 60th birthday. Colin a Sue the owners were the most loveliest couple, they made us so welcome. The room we stayed in was spotless and the bed very comfortable, breakfast was excellent. We had a most enjoyable stay and will certainly stay there again.

Hello to you both, we hope you are keeping well. Now that you are 60 and continuing to enjoy life in the fast lane since acquiring your new toy in the shape of a brand new Mercedes C220, lovely. Perfect breakfast and perfect hosts !! The cleanest place we have ever stayed in blackpool and the location is ideal! The buscuits and fudge in the room was an added bonus. We had the small double room but it was just the right size for us and the en suite was very modern with great shower. The breakfast is of...

Thank you both for the lovely review and to echo your comments as you were the "perfect guests." Glad that you were pleased with the service and hospitality provided and the standard of cleanliness in house. This is not your stereotypical Blackpool B&B. Colin and Sue are excellent a hosts who are looking to provide a quality experience for couples. I'm a little biased as we only stay at The Laurels when in Blackpool; we're just leaving from the Soul festival at the Winter gardens and will be back in November for the Northern soul event...

Hello both, hope you are well. We have just today received your review and have no idea why it took this long to arrive as the date sent was 20th June. However much we try to put you both off from coming here you still arrive at our door, it must be something to do with our hospitality, we wonder...

Just spent weekend at this lovely guest house. Hosts Colin and Sue couldn't do any more to help, very attentive hosts. Breakfast was great and as we had to leave extra early on Monday morning due to work commitments they put on tea/toast cereal etc and even offered to cook breakfast out of the usual breakfast timings. Our room although...
