We have really enjoyed our stay at The Colris Hotel all the staff were friendly and hard working. Brian & Deb are the managers and run the hotel for the owner. They mix well with there guests and come and socialise in the bar area and made us all laugh. The food was nice and always hot and on time...

Room and Bathroom dirty, need a thorough deep clean. Could not bring myself to step in the dirty bath to use the decrepit old overhead shower. Old and delapidated furnishings and decor. Food left a lot to be desired, gravy sent back (like coloured water) ice cream sent back, hair in it. Disabled guests in our party, the disabled access...

Stayed in the hotel on 24th July for one night. Met by the manageress at reception who seemed nice enough. Decor in room was a bit dated and shower didn't work properly but apart from that everything else was fine. Breakfast - Choice of cereals and fruit juice followed by a full english.

We booked in to The Colris for a four day break in June. Debbie and Brian were loveley, however, I have never met such an abrupt/miserable/unwelcoming owner/barman/nighter porter in all the hotels I have booked in. Best thing about this hotel is the location. Will not be returning nor would recommend to friends!!!

Stayed here for two nights in April in a superior family room. Our room was on the first floor, accessible by stairs and a small lift. The size of the room was adequate for us but our friends had much smaller rooms. The whole hotel needs a refurb but the bedding was clean, bathroom was ok but would not have...
