Stayed here with a friend and was in the double with en-suite. We arrived earlier than planned so our room wasn't ready but Linda was happy for us to leave our luggage and go out. The room was small but had what was needed including maps and tourist guide. Breakfast was lovely but very cramped, I had to move my...

We stayed early July for 2 nights. Linda welcomed us and showed us to our room, it was small but adequate for us and very clean and comfortable, the shower was nice and powerfull. If you like dogs (and we do) there are 2 beautiful big labradors called Major and Lenny. The breakfast were large and tasty and the dining...

Very welcoming and friendly throughout stay. Able to give advice and town map to help navigate around....very helpful! Short walk to center of town area and able to leave car parked on road by B+B at no extra cost. Clean rooms and tasty cooked breakfast. Thank you.

Linda gave us a warm welcome and was great with our 2 young children. The rooms were clean and the family room was ideal as once the children were in bed we could relax in the room. The room was a little chilly, however Linda provided us with an extra heater which was perfect. The guesthouse is in a perfect...

I booked a room online on Wednesday 24th Sept. Received booking reference and was looking forward to a weekend away from the kids. Imagine mine and my wife's surprise when we turned up today 27th Sept, invited in and then told, 'oh yes, I cancelled your booking as someone else wanted the room for 2 nights. I called you and...

As an older couple, we enjoyed a very pleasant welcome from Linda. A very clean and comfortable room and ensuite. Well cooked breakfast in generous proportion. Well placed for the town, lake etc. Will definitely go again.

The bathrooms were clean and were unexpectedly serviced during a two day stay but there are dozens of places around that I am sure offer better value for money. The dogs in the dining room is not something that I appreciated. The place needs a good redecorate. My TV didn't work and Linda could not be found to ask her...

Myself and partner had a great 2 night stay here in May 2014. We were made to feel at home straight away & really welcome. The guest house is in a great location, walking distance into Windermere town & Bowness. The breakfast provided was a bonus! We will definitely be staying here again when we next visit Windermere!

Really friendly place to stay. I was impressed with the service you received on arrival and leaving the guest house. Linda is a lovely lady and makes the stay feel even more welcoming. The breakfast was of good standard and would highly recommend anyone to stay there. There is also a local pub brook side inn which is a basic...
