Unfortunately our stay fell on a rainy and miserable weekend, but it was lovely to come back to a cosy lounge, warm bed and even...

Mary and Phillip are extremely friendly hosts and very helpful in terms of recommending a selection of bars and restaurants. The location is perfect, just a small stroll and you are in the centre of Windermere. A great find for a weekend away, we will be back in Summer.

I stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. Mary and Phillip are thoughtful hosts and are really interesting people to talk to. The location was a perfect 5 min walk from Windermere, which has a great selection of restaurants and bars (recommended by Phillip). I wouldn't hesitate to stay again or suggest this accommodation to my friends....

We stayed here from Boxing Day for 4 nights. We were very warmly welcomed by Mary and shown to our room. Breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from including a full English, scrambled egg with smoked salmon and omelette. The sausages were particularly yummy! Also the home made lemon curd and marmalade were delicious. The location is brilliant for walks...
