This guest house in the centre so good location. We only booked last minute and all that was left was a 4 poster room, I thought oh that's nice!! Well don't have any grand ideas when booking a 4 poster room here, it won't live up to any expectations. The room it's self was a good size but it's has...

Myself and my boyfriend booked a last minute stay here. We had an excellent stay, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, loved our room with a spa bath, location was great, the only downside to this guest house is the lack of parking. We really struggled to park our large car, other guests this weekend were all in big cars, ideally more...

Absolutely loves this place. Great location to walk into town, beautiful breakfast, elegant rooms and the staff were excellent. Some great places to eat nearby and the Lake is a 15 minute walk away. We will definitely stay here again!

We went for a weekend in April and cannot recommend this place enough. I am one of those awkward vegetarians and they couldn't do enough for me for breakfast. What a lovely family that run this thank you for making our birthday weekend so special x

What a lovely location and what lovely, friendly hosts. You can tell they care about what they deliver and they deliver it well. Breakfasts were very tasty, efficient and made with lots of love. The veggie sausages were awesome. Our room was clean and warm and with lovely toiletries, which you can buy at reception.

Stayed here for two nights, we were well received and shown to a comfortable room with a good view. The room was clean, comfortable and warm. The breakfast was excellent. After returning from a wet walk Jasmine was happy to see to having our boots dried and ready for us the next day.Having a parking space was also an added bonus.

First time to the Lake District -we absolutely loved it!! The area is stunning and the Guest House was excellent. We had a twin room which was compact but had everything we needed. The breakfast was to die for and was just what we needed before a long day walking. The Guest House is 2 mins from the train station...

Good location. Few mins walk to bus /train stations and into the town. Check in fine. Informed that tv wasn't working due to aerial problems. Booked standard room (3). Room clean and quiet. Beds comfy. Room bit cramped with a tiny en suite and tiny sink that it was impossible to wash your face/brush your teeth in without flooding the...
