We stayed two nights in a lovely room with lake view on second floor. Beautiful chintzy decor and all amenities incl. Comfortable easy chairs. Complimentary damson gin a very nice touch, though if staying two nights perhaps it should be topped up for each day....More

The staff were very friendly and accommodating! The breakfast was great!
I felt like I was in a different world.
There was even a cat that greeted me as I stepped out the car!!!
Our trip to Holbeck never let's me down. The service is second to non. I love to have a long walk before taking a hot tub nth with a bottle of pink champagne to share. With the spectacular views of lake Windermere.

No, not possible to walk to a Pub from this Country House Hotel.
It's not easy to find a convenient parking place in this Hotel between the profusion of Maseratis and Porsches when I was there , so you get the picture !
