Top marks to Sarah and Dean for making our three night stay in Penrith so comfortable and providing such delicious breakfasts. The rooms at Bank House are delightfully decorated in a style which compliments this lovely old house. Everything we needed was provided - locally made toiletries -and the bed linen is a real treat. The location in Penrith was ideal...

Could not fault the accommodation or the welcome from Dean and Sarah who were very helpful and informative. Rooms were very comfortable and the breakfasts were lovely, with excellent local ingredients and a good choice. Coffee and cake was put out for us when we returned from our days out, which was a really nice touch. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend...

Great little B&B, bedroom with lovely views, coffee and home made cake on arrival. Good breakfast with lots to choose from and nice touches (fresh fruit etc). We enjoyed our stay and the toffees en route.... We wanted to looked around Penrith on the Saturday morning and were able to leave the car until later in the day which was...

We booked into Bank House for a two night stay, as we were in the Lake District for a sports event. The guest house was easy to find. We had no problem parking on the road, at the front of the building. The large bedroom room was nicely furnished and clean, with view over garden. The bathroom was also large....

Stayed for one night on our way back home to Scotland. Sarah was on hand to meet us and made tea and coffee with some delicious home made cake. Nice comfortable room with a view of the fantastic garden. Excellent choices for breakfast using local produce. On leaving we were given a bag of local sweets which we enjoyed.

This house is difficult to locate. There ought to be a visible sign outside as there is no number, but only a small sign saying Bank House. The bedroom was nice with a comfortable bed. The shower room looked nice, but the shower lacked power and was very weak. There was a nice view from the breakfast room. The cooked...

Thank you for your review and your informative remarks. Bank House Is like most of the other houses at the top of Graham Street, a Victorian house which has never had a number. It is well marked on google maps as Bank House B and B. I believe on most sat navs the post code will take you to a...

The signature of the Bank House is their welcome. I've never been offered cake and tea when arriving anywhere - but there is always a first. My hosts for the evening could never be more welcoming. As far as the accommodation goes, this is a solid Victorian / Georgian building with a lovely garden set a high above Penrith town....

Lovely period house sympathetically furnished with a beautiful view from the dining room where we were served an excellent breakfast. Our room was cosy, comfortable and very clean. We were made very welcome by our friendly hosts who were extremely helpful and accomodating. We could not have asked for more. Hopefully we will be back soon for a longer stay.

A very comfortable stay. The house has a certain elegance, not especially obvious externally. The bedroom was well appointed and the breakfast was excellent. Although at the op of a hill, it was within easy walking distance of the centre of Penrith.

We stayed one night on our way home from Scotland. Bank House is on a quiet road just a few minutes walk into the centre of Penrith. Our room was comfortable and clean.
