This was one of the coziest and welcoming B&Bs I've stayed at. The owners are incredibly kind (and very understanding when our check-in time was delayed until the late evening). We were welcomed with delicious homemade cookies which we enjoyed in our charming bedroom alongside an array of hand selected teas. While we were only dropping in for the evening, Mark and Paula made us feel right at home, and we can't wait for our next visit!

Thoroughly recommend Norcroft Guest house to anyone. Location just a short walk into the town centre. Private car parking facilities.

Mark our host was welcoming and very graciously helped us sort out our bikes, getting them off the car and into a locked shed.

Lovely spacious room with comfy beds and high ceilings. Very clean and nicely presented. Good selection of teas and coffee in the room.
Great selection on breakfast menu which you order in advance and is delivered to your room.

All in all great value and service. Thank you.

At Norcroft Mark and Paula offer welcoming and comfortable accommodation with a seamless efficiency. Some of furnishings and decor may be a little dated, but they have only been there for 3 months. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and you won't get better value.

Mark went above and beyond to accommodate my unpredictable work schedule during my time in Cumbria. On the first night when I arrived late, Paula's homemade muffin was a lovely touch and exactly what I didn't realise I needed. On the day I checked out, I ended up working later than expected, so I messaged Mark to see if they could accommodate me for an extra night. They were full, but late at night and with less than an hour's notice, they prepared a room they don't normally let out. Proper customer service at it's finest!

Breakfast is pre-ordered, vegetarian only and served in your room. I did miss my bacon initially, but the breakfast was so delicious that I soon forgot about bacon. Compared to the usual awkward shuffle around a buffet that has been sitting out for ages, I really enjoyed how relaxed and civilised it was to have a freshly cooked breakfast at the table in the comfort of my room.

I would not hesitate to recommend Norcroft for a personal, thoughtful and great value place to stay in the Penrith area.

Thanks again Mark and Paula for putting up with me with such care!

I stayed here for one night on the way to Scotland to help break up the journey. The Guest House is in the perfect location that its quiet and within easy walking distance to the Town Centre which has plenty of restaurants on offer. Parking is at the back of the property and had plenty of space available.

Having arrived after a long day on the road, we were welcomed by both the owners and offered a delicious slice of cake which was amazing! The Room itself was immaculate, clean and tidy with plenty of space and I was made to feel right at home. Breakfast was ordered the night before and delivered straight to your room.

The Owners are both very kind, attentive & they are excellent hosts. If I’m ever in the arear again I will defiantly be staying here again!

We were greeted by Mark and Paula with home made cookies. Mark has contacted us in advance to arrange an arrival time.
The double room we had was on the front and it was nice and spacious.
There was plenty of choice for breakfast.
There was a good selection of of herbal tea and coffee in the room.
There was a car park and the location is only a five minute walk from Penrith centre.

Fantastic find for breaking long journeys to Scotland. The owners checked in on my arrival time by text. Parking is available on site (free). My room was spotless and comfortable. Lovely to have a soft chair, a cookie and decent coffee bags. Bed and shower were great. Breakies was delivered to my door (ordered the night before). Location was quiet and secure. I’ll be back the next time I do the journey. Thank you.

Lovely little break in Penrith. Check in straightforward. John and Kim were very friendly and helpful. The Cumbrian breakfast was really tasty, well cooked to order and nice and hot. Only a five minute walk into town and a nice local pub two minutes away the royal. Would stay again next time we are in the area.
Thanks guys.

I stayed here overnight during the 2022 National Road Rally. Secure parking for my motorcycle where the host welcomed me as I rode in.
I had a very comfortable night in a very clean ensuite single room on the second floor. Full English breakfast was delivered to my door spot on 7.30 as requested.
Location is a short walk from the town centre where there are plenty of pubs and takeaways etc.
Overall an excellent B&B which I will definitely consider for a return visit.

John and Kim made us very welcome. They were very strict with their COVID-19 instructions and Kim took our temperature before we were allowed in which made us feel very safe. The rooms were very clean and the beds nice and comfy. Lovely breakfast served in our room (due to the restrictions) but very nice is was too. Ideal location to walk into town and plenty of places to eat. Thanks to both of you
